The launch of Sue Divin’s book Runaway Road saw a full house at The Grind Cafe last Thursday night. Damian Gorman joined Sue for the event, and Michaela McDaid was lucky enough to buy the last signed copy of the book.

Fortunately, Aaron at The Grind Cafe has stocked up, so you can still purchase your copy there. Runaway Road is a brilliant book and a must-read for all ages. It has already been hailed by The Irish Times as “one to watch in 2026.”

OPEN CALL for STILL LIFE exhibition to coincide with SETTING, by Mary O'Malley, artists are invited to interpret this theme in their unique styles, through any medium.

Drop Off work at Artlink 17th, 18th & 19th June.
no postal entries.

Traditionally, a still life is a composition of objects arranged in quiet suspension: fruit in
a bowl, flowers in a vase, things gathered and made momentarily permanent. Still Life
expands this definition, treating the term not only as a genre but as a question. What is
“still”? What counts as “life”?Irish American Ceramic artist Mary O’Malley presents Setting at Artlink Fort Dunree Irish American Ceramic artist Mary O’Malley presents Setting at Artlink Fort Dunree.

When I walk
Walking Workshop with Jessica Auer
Slow down. Step outside. Be present.

As part of Art in the Park V artist Jessica Auer invites the public to participate in a gentle walking workshop in Swan Park exploring movement, attention, and landscape.

Participants will be encouraged to disconnect from digital devices and engage in simple exercises of breathing, grounding, and attention; to slow down and settle into the present moment and surrounding environment.

Jessica emphasises walking as a simple and democratic gesture — an open and accessible way of engaging with place, while remaining mindful and inclusive of people with disabilities.

Everyone is welcome. Just turn up outside the Angling Centre, at the entrance to Swan Park,
Thursday the 28th of May 11:00am
Duration: approximately 1.5 hours

Looking back to this brilliant talk on Estonian Photography. Peeter Linnap, a key figure in establishing photography education in Estonia and leading its artistic revolution of the 1990s, made a special tip to Artlink at Fort Dunree, Donegal in October 2024. He gave a talk on contemporary photography in Estonia on his very first visit to Donegal.

This Friday, we are having a garden potluck and pottery session to remember Harry Kerr at Amach Anseo.

Bring your favourite food, and we'll create pinch pots.

It's important to get together, remember, and celebrate his life. This is not exclusive, and anyone can join, the more, the merrier.
We'll be getting together at 4:00pm, this Friday 15th May.
Hope you can make it
