📢 Funding Opportunity for Cork Communities!

Cork City Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the 2026 Town and Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS).

💶 Funding can support projects that help improve and revitalise our towns and villages, including:

🌳 Green spaces & recreational areas
🏘️ Town and village centre regeneration
🚶 Public realm & streetscape improvements
🌱 Climate-action initiatives
🛍️ Local market infrastructure
🏠 Community-centre improvements
🏚️ Bringing vacant or derelict buildings back into community use

There is also Project Development Measure funding of up to €50,000 available for feasibility studies, design, planning, environmental assessments and other work needed to develop projects.

5.00pm, Friday 30 October 2026

📍 Eligible communities include Blarney, Tower, Kerry Pike, Glanmire, Upper Glanmire and Killeens, as well as other eligible locations within the Cork City area.

🌿 Biodiversity Funding 2026 – Community Foundation Ireland 🌱

Does your community group have an idea to protect, restore or enhance local biodiversity? There is funding available through the Community Foundation Ireland Biodiversity Fund 2026, supported by the National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS).

💚 Two funding strands are available:

🌱 Community Biodiversity Action Plan (CBAP)
Funding of €6,000–€10,000 to work with a qualified ecologist to assess local biodiversity and develop a Community Biodiversity Action Plan.

🌳 CBAP Implementation
Funding of up to €12,000 for communities that already have a Biodiversity Action Plan and want to put its recommendations into action.

📅 Application deadline: Friday, 2 October 2026 at 4:00 pm

Funding is available through the **Integration Fund 2026** across three schemes:

💶 **Scheme 1:** €100,000 – €300,000
💶 **Scheme 2:** €15,000 – €100,000
💶 **Scheme 3:** €1,000 – €10,000
