Yesterday, our mountain leaders enjoyed a beautiful autumn day out in the Comeraghs for our Peaks Club leaders' training day. The day was ran by Mountaineering Ireland, expertly led by Tom Meehan.
A great opportunity to brush up on their mountain skills, share experiences and enjoy some fantastic scenery and company along the way!
Many thanks to Tom for sharing his knowledge and to Denis for organising the day.

Some photos from our 2 ⭐️ walk today on the Knockmealdowns. A fabulous walk in the sunshine with Tom leading and Will Co- leading.

17 hardy and happy hikers were out on our 3 ⭐️ walk on the Galtees today. They did the Cush horseshoe via the gully from Lough Curra. A gorgeous day to be out on the hills!! Thanks to John Morrissey for leading a fantastic walk! Distance: 14.2 km, height gain: 1050 metres

A few photos from our 1* walk today in the Galtees. Led by Will and assisted by Deirdre. A beautiful 11k walk in the bright Autumn sunshine!

Our 4 ⭐️ walk was led today by Kevin Bowen. Only 3 hardy hikers were out but a fantastic day was had, we even managed to miss the worst of the weather! Kevin led us on a fabulous route around the Comeraghs, 23 kms distance, 999 metres height gain, 7 hrs 15 mins duration

15 hardy walkers headed out on our 2 ⭐️ walk today into the Boolas. Mike Fitzgibbon led with John Staunton keeping an eye from the back. It was wet and windy but everyone stayed smiling!
