We have a very busy week in store with the return of our ‘Brendan Cummins Camp’. This very popular camp was sadly missed by the our young hurlers and camógs last year but we are thrilled to have it back up and running again. The field will be bustling with lots of fun come Tuesday morning. Brendan and everyone at the club are really looking forward to the return of the camp and seeing all the boys and girls back again 😊 🟢🟡🟢

Only 2 more sleeps !! 😀

PARISH NEWS
Ballybacon Church
Parish Ministers
Many thanks to all ministers who have returned their respective forms! It would be of great help if all forms were back to Fr Michael as soon as possible. This is to ensure that there are enough ministers to assist at Masses and to update the safeguarding and parish records.
Important Dates
Please note that due to clarity from Government confirmation in the Parish has been postponed until at least the Autumn solely in the interest of public safety.
Mass for the Bereaved
Conscious that many funerals have taken place in the last 16 months amidst restrictions, Masses will be celebrated in the coming weeks in our Churches. The Mass is offered for all our deceased loved ones, inviting especially those who have suffered a bereavement since the start of 2020 in our parishes or who are grieving. During Mass, the names of those who have died and will be read out and a candle lit for them. The date scheduled for Ballybacon is Monday next 12 July at 7.30pm and Thursday the 22 July in Ardfinnan at 7.30pm.
Peters Pence
Next weekend, the collection for Diocesan Needs or Peters Pence will be taken up. This assists the Diocese and wider church in providing many vital services. Rather than an extra collection, we are asked if we can support by giving what extra you can give at the entrance collection in the church. There are envelopes in the weekly packages or envelopes are available in the church. Thank you for your continued support!
