Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting last night, especially to our guests that we had in attendance. We had 3 very interesting speeches by Erin, Ellen and Breda. We also had some very well presented evaluations and a very entertaining table topics round.

Another great Toastmasters meeting on 14 May at The Talbot Hotel, Clonmel. It was a privilege to welcome Gina Dallison, life coach and presenter at the Rose Conference in Tralee last weekend. Gina took on the role of General Evaluator and shared some excellent suggestions to help improve our meetings. Patricia joined us from Thurlas Toastmasters Club and we had three guests ❤️

We enjoyed three fantastic prepared speeches last night.

And finally, a very happy birthday to Kate 🎉🎂

Members of Clonmel Toastmasters had a fantastic weekend in Tralee at The Rose Conference. Claire proudly represented Clonmel Toastmasters on Friday in the Table Topics Contest and was absolutely brilliant.

The whole weekend was superb from start to finish — full of inspiration, learning, friendship, and great memories. Already looking forward to next year’s District 71 Annual Conference.

Another great night at Clonmel Toastmasters on Thursday 9 March!

Numbers may have been low, but the quality of the meeting was outstanding 👏

We were delighted to welcome Area Director Yvonne Kearney, who presented a ribbon from Toastmasters International in recognition of our achievement as a Presidents Distinguished Club for 2024–2025 🏆

The club also received a commemorative coin and a note from Steve Campion, Program Quality Director for District 71, congratulating us on all our Club Officers completing their educational training this year — a key factor in building a strong and successful club.

A fantastic reminder that dedication and teamwork continue to drive our success. Well done to everyone involved!

Very enjoyable evening yesterday at Clonmel toastmasters. 3 great speeches by Patrick, Ellen and Jim. A special well done to Patrick for his icebreaker.

🎤 Another great night at Clonmel Toastmasters!

We had a fantastic meeting on 12 March, with a special thanks to our guest speaker Pat Sexton from Mallow Toastmasters, who also won Best Table Topics on the night 👏

What a fantastic day at the Area 8 Contest held in the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel! 🎤👏

A huge thank you to all the clubs who participated and helped make the event such a success: Wordsmiths Toastmasters, Thurles Toastmasters, DLS Toastmasters, Tower Toastmasters and Clonmel Toastmasters. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, support and talent from across the clubs.

A special word of thanks to our Test Speaker, Mary O’Connell Motherway from Garryvoe Toastmasters Club, for delivering an excellent speech for the Evaluation Contest. Thank you also to everyone who attended, participated, judged and supported the contestants throughout the day.

We are very grateful to our Chief Judge Patricia Loughnane and our Contest Chair Breid Greene for their leadership and dedication in ensuring the contest ran so smoothly.

Congratulations to all our contestants — each of you brought something unique, inspiring and memorable to the stage today. You should all be incredibly proud of your performances. 🌟

What a fantastic night at Clonmel Toastmasters last Thursday night 🎤✨

Our club contest was filled with enthusiasm, energy and plenty of fun. The standard was incredibly high and the support in the room was just brilliant.

A special mention to Francsis, who absolutely wowed us with her expertise — delivering a powerful speech with just 10 minutes of preparation! Truly impressive.

Huge thanks to Mick for delivering the test speech for the contest — your contribution set the stage perfectly.

A big well done to Hassain and Jim for their outstanding performances on the night. 👏

And special recognition to our Contest Chair, Breid, who did a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly and professionally throughout the evening.

Finally, we wish Jim the very best as he goes forward to represent us at the Area 8 Contest on 8th March in the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel from
12:30 to 16:30. We’re all behind you!
