We Are TLM 'We Are TLM' represents a group of International organisations with a shared vision and mission: to care for children with cancer in Tanzania.

Their Lives Matter Ireland Registered Charity Number: 20103798. Tumaini La Maisha (Hope for Life) operates from our Hub at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their Lives Matter UK and Ireland are our sister NGOs that support with advocacy and fundraising. At our Hub in Muhimbili Hospital we treat hundreds of children with cancer every year.

In just 5 days, an incredible team of paddlers will set out on their journey from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar, paddling not for a medal, but for something far more important — giving children with cancer a chance at life.

Today, we celebrate and appreciate our wonderful donor who generously purchased a Yanga Sports Club jersey kit as part of our Make a Wish Program.

One of our brave children, who is a passionate and loyal fan of the club, wished for a full Yanga kit - and thanks to this kind gesture, that wish is soon becoming a reality. We are looking forward to the moment he receives it; the joy and excitement on his face will truly be priceless.

As part of our continued mission to ensure that no child dies unnecessarily from cancer, Tumaini La Maisha had the pleasure of visiting Tumbi Regional Referral Hospital for productive discussions on strengthening childhood cancer care.

We look forward to welcoming the hospital into our NCCN network, joining 22 partner hospitals across Tanzania working together to improve childhood cancer treatment and outcomes 💛
