Annual film festival | Co. Offaly
Bringing filmmakers & film lovers to the heart of Ireland.
7-11 October 2026

Our audience has spoken. The inaugural OFFline Fright Night Best Horror Short winner is the deadly serious ‘Celestial Intersect: The Haden House Haunting’ directed by Ben Monk. What a mouthful.

This short will go on to be screened at CULTPLEX, an indie cinema in the heart of Manchester as part of their STAB horror season.

Well done lads!

As we dot the final I’s and cross the remaining T’s of this year’s festival, it’s worth giving another shout of praise to our invaluable sponsors.

From everyone on the OFFline team, thank you all for contributing to one of the all-time best OFFline editions.

OFFline 2026 Closing Gala - Made in Midlands

Thanks to Tullamore D.E.W. for the drinks reception, Darren Lee from filmoffaly for moderating the Q&A, all the filmmakers, and of course our wonderful audience for ensuring this year’s festival went out with a bang.

Brilliant work by the gang in this year’s 48 Hour Film Challenge in collaboration with Fresh Int. Film Festival

Seeing the work on the big screen was special. Hopefully we’ll see these budding filmmakers at OFFline for years to come!
