🚨 BOIL WATER NOTICE IN EFFECT 🚨
A Boil Water Notice has been issued to protect public health for Newport, Birdhill, Ballina, Boher, Killoscully and surroundingareas. All consumers must boil their tap water before consumption.
💧 Safe Water Usage
You must use boiled and cooled water or bottled water for:
●Drinking
●Preparing food / salads
●Brushing teeth
●Making ice cubes
🍼 Infant Formula Advice
Standard bottled water is safe for infant formula.
Avoid 'Natural Mineral Water' due to high sodium/salt.
If using mineral water, use it briefly to keep babies hydrated.Boil bottled water once (rolling boil for 1 minute).
Let it cool normally before adding formula.
Ready-to-use formula requiring no water is highly recommended.
