The official Scout motto is "Be Prepared."
Meaning and HistoryOrigin: Robert Baden-Powell created the motto in 1907 and published it in his 1908 book Scouting for Boys.
Definition: Baden-Powell explained that it means being in a constant state of readiness in mind and body to do your duty and face any unexpected situation or emergency. Baden-Powell noted that the motto conveniently matched his own initials, B-P.
"Prepared for what?": When asked this, Baden-Powell replied, "Be prepared for anything.
In Irish: Bí ullamh is pronounced "Bee oo-lav"

Exams are done, results are in, and a whole new chapter is about to begin! 🎓✨
To everyone heading back to school, starting college, beginning an apprenticeship, heading into work or figuring out what comes next, we’re wishing you the very best.

Whatever the next chapter looks like, embrace it, enjoy it, work hard, have fun and, of course, keep Scouting! ✨
