So, heartiest congratulations to Geraldine, one of 3 ICA winners of ICA Brown Bread competition held in An Grianán today. Geraldine will now go forward to the national finals which will be held at the Ploughing Championships in September.

🌿 Expressions of Interest Now Open – Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) 2026/2027 🌿

Do you have a project that could enhance outdoor recreation in County Meath?

Meath Partnership is inviting community and voluntary groups to submit an Expression of Interest for funding under the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) 2026/2027.

Funding opportunities are available under:
✅ Measure 1 – Small-Scale Projects (up to €40,000)
✅ Measure 2 – Medium-Scale Projects (up to €200,000)
✅ Project Development Measure

Projects could include walking trails, cycling routes, blueways, accessibility improvements, visitor facilities, biodiversity initiatives and much more.

A very big ‘thank you’ to Geraldine McNally who organised our annual Athboy ICA Guild outing. We visited Hillsborough Castle, Co Down yesterday and by all accounts a very pleasant day was had by all. Thanks Geraldine.
