The 2025 Goal Mile- What a fabulous tradition to have in our town. We really enjoyed seeing everyone out enjoying the fresh air as a community on Christmas Day. Together we have raised €1905 to support Goal projects across 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America👏

Thank you all for such a wonderful turnout at today's Goal Mile. It was truely special to have representatives of the Staunton Family with us along with Assumpta Kelly, Community person of the year 2025, to present the Padraic Staunton Perpetual Cup.

Congratulations to Jack Moran, Stefan Connolly, Seán Óg Tiernan, Francesca Kelly, Gráinne Whelehan, Aoife Thorpe, and our talented young athletes DJ, Cathal, Cillian and Jake.

All funds collected today go directly to Goal projects in 15 of the most vulnerable communities in the World. Merry Christmas to you all

What a fantastic turn out this Christmas morning for our Athboy Goal Mile. Congratulations to everyone who took part, especially to our top runners: Jack Moran 5.11, Paddy Tiernan 5.29, Sean Óg Tiernan 5.33, Francesca Kelly 5.49, Aoife Thorpe 6.03, Katie Gath 6.29.

Special thanks to Tony Ennis for keeping us on track, to the members of Fr Murphy AC for their support, to Av Keogh and Anne Lane for taking photos, and to PIMT for opening and providing refreshments for all our participants.
