香港遺傳性乳癌家族資料庫（下稱「資料庫」）成立於2007年，為本港首間及目前唯一致力研究BRCA基因突變及幫助因基因突變而患遺傳性癌症(包括乳癌、卵巢癌及前列腺癌)的高危家庭，進行基因測試、輔導及臨床醫護服務的慈善機構。「資料庫」是現時全球擁有最多專為華人病例作BRCA基因突變研究的基因樣本及臨床生物數據的資料庫，旨在進一步完善對華人患遺傳性癌症的醫學研究及制定合適的預防措施，以幫助基因突變患者及其家族成員，提供更全面及多元化的普查及支援服務，從而減低本地以至全球華人因基因突變導致的遺傳性癌症的風險。自成立以來「資料庫」得到各方慷慨支持，已成功資助逾5,600名本地經濟有困難的高危人士，當中包括逾4,400個家庭，進行基因測試及相關輔導服務。

Established in 2007, Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (

“THE REGISTRY”) is the only and first-ever charitable organization dedicated to help the high-risk families who have hereditary risk of breast, ovarian and prostate cancer due to BRCA gene mutations. We also aim to advance and standardize clinical care by formulating preventative measures through data collection, research, public education, counseling and supportive care services in reducing the incidence of hereditary cancers in Chinese population. THE REGISTRY now has the largest database and biobank of hereditary breast cancers specimens in Chinese which would facilitate better understanding research of the disease locally and worldwide. THE REGISTRY has raised funds for financing the underserved high - risk families in the community to undergo genetic testing and counseling and has benefited over 5,600 individuals involving 4,400 families up to now.

這次講座地點在牛潮浸信會，位於觀塘海濱道萬兆豐中心8樓F室&G室🏢

🚇 港鐵出發（步行約 8 -10分鐘）：
1️⃣坐地鐵到牛頭角站，從 B6 出口出站
2️⃣出站後直接進入左邊的行人隧道
3️⃣穿出隧道後，往海濱長廊方向繼續直行
4️⃣直行到翡翠冰室附近，便到達萬兆豐中心
5️⃣走進萬兆豐中心大堂，乘搭右邊電梯直達 8樓 F及G室（牛潮浸信會）

The seminar will be held at Ngau Tau Kok Swatow Baptist Church, located at Rooms F & G, 8/F, MG Tower, Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong 🏢

🚇 Getting There by MTR (8-10 minutes):
1️⃣ Take the MTR to Ngau Tau Kok Station and exit via Exit B6
2️⃣ After exiting, enter the pedestrian subway on your left
3️⃣ Walk through the subway and continue walk straight towards the Kwun Tong Promenade
4️⃣ Keep walking until you reach Jade Café. The MG Tower is next to it
5️⃣ Enter the MG Tower and take the lift on the right to 8/F, Rooms F & G (Ngau Tau Kok Swatow Baptist Church)

資料庫正式在ALIPAY支付寶平台推出兩個常設捐款項目，希望能集合大家的力量，為高風險族群撐起健康的防線!🙌

💫 有時候，一次檢查可以及早發現、及早應對疾病，讓健康多一分保障。然而，一次全面的深層檢測服務費用，對於許多高風險家庭來說是一筆沉重的負擔，如: 全套乳癌檢測收費高達2-3萬。這筆昂貴的費用，往往成為他們及早發現和治療的絆腳石。有見及此，資料庫已在 ALIPAY 平台推出兩個捐款項目，用行動幫助高風險人士減輕經濟負擔。

THE REGISTRY has officially launched two donation items on the ALIPAY platform. Together, we can unite our power to build a shield of health for high-risk individuals! 🙌

💫 Sometimes, screening can mean early detection and early intervention. However, a comprehensive screening service can be a heavy financial burden for high-risk individuals — a full set of breast cancer screenings can cost between HK$20,000 - $30,000. The expensive fee often becomes an obstacle to early detection and timely treatment for the high-risk individuals.

In light of this, THE REGISTRY has launched regular donation items on ALIPAY to take impactful action in relieving their burdens:

📌 TP53 Love Follows Assistance Programme

The TP53 gene mutation is hereditary and significantly increases the risk of breast cancer, sarcoma, leukemia, and brain tumors in both adults and children. This program provides free services of full body MRI scans for TP53 mutation carriers.

📌 High-Risk Breast Surveillance Programme
This program is dedicated to providing MRI screening services for individuals at high risk of hereditary breast cancer.
