📢 「肝炎測試周」專題健康講座回顧｜早驗・早防・早治

香港愛滋病基金會於筲箕灣總部及旺角服務中心舉行「保肝一生專題健康講座」。第二場「調理個肝」及第三場「男男護肝」分別於7月31日及8月1日舉行，聚焦病毒性肝炎的預防、檢測、治療與日常健康管理。

🔸 第二場：調理個肝
「西醫治療有法・中醫調理有道 – 智慧護肝抵禦肝癌、肝硬化」
由香港中文大學香港中西醫結合醫學研究所客席副教授黃韻婷博士主講，分享病毒性肝炎的公共衛生現況、中西醫協同護肝概念，以及肝纖維化、肝硬化與肝癌的預防重點。

黃博士提醒，慢性乙肝及丙肝若未及早處理，可能進一步發展為肝纖維化、肝硬化甚至肝癌；及早知道，才可以及早預防和治療。

🔸 第三場：男男護肝｜男男專場
「甲乙丙肝都關你事・肝炎風險自保錦囊」
由衞生署衞生防護中心特別預防計劃／紅絲帶中心薛耀威醫生主講，講解甲、乙、丙型肝炎的傳播風險、快速測試、疫苗安排、治療概念，以及男男性接觸者相關的肝炎預防資訊。

薛醫生強調，及早了解風險、及早檢測與及早治理，有助更有效保護自己與伴侶健康。

基金會總幹事黃文達先生代表致送紀念獎座，感謝黃博士及薛醫生的專業分享。基金會期望透過「肝炎測試周」活動，讓更多市民及社群人士掌握肝炎風險自保、及早篩查和健康管理的重要性。

📢 “Hepatitis Special Testing Week” Health Seminar Recap｜Screen Early, Prevent Early, Treat Early

The Hong Kong AIDS Foundation held its “Hepatitis Special Testing Week” health seminar series at the Shau Kei Wan Headquarters and Mong Kok Service Centre. The second session, “Nourish Your Liver”, and the third session, “MSM Liver Care”, were held on 31 July and 1 August, focusing on viral hepatitis prevention, screening, treatment, and health management.

🔸Second Session: Nourish Your Liver
“Western Medicine Treatment and Chinese Medicine Care – Smart Liver Care Against Liver Cancer and Cirrhosis”

The second session was delivered by Dr. Wendy Wong, Adjunct Associate Professor, Hong Kong Institute of Integrative Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She shared insights on the public health situation of viral hepatitis, integrated Chinese and Western medicine approaches to liver care, and key prevention concepts related to liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer.

Dr. Wong reminded participants that if chronic hepatitis B and C are not addressed early, they may progress to liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, or even liver cancer. Knowing early enables early prevention and treatment.

🔸 The Third Session: MSM Liver Care｜MSM Session
“Hepatitis A, B and C Matter to You: Self-Protection Tips”

The third session was led by Dr. Alfred Sit from the Special Preventive Programme, Centre for Health Protection, Department of Health / Red Ribbon Centre. He introduced transmission risks of hepatitis A, B and C, rapid testing, vaccination arrangements, treatment concepts, and hepatitis prevention information relevant to men who have s*x with men.

Dr. Sit emphasized that understanding risks early, getting tested early, and seeking care early are essential to protecting both oneself and one’s partners.

Mr. Timothy Wong, Chief Executive of the Foundation, presented commemorative plaques to thank Dr. Wong and Dr. Sit for their professional sharing. Through the special testing week, the Foundation hopes to strengthen public and community awareness of hepatitis risk self-protection, early screening, and ongoing health management.

Together with our mascot “HepaBuddy”, let’s safeguard our health and continue the journey of liver care.

香港愛滋病基金會昨日（7月28日）於筲箕灣總部舉行首場專題講座，由腸胃肝臟科專科醫生林朗昕醫生主講【保肝一生「肝炎知識 × 預防 × 治療 × 管理 – 終生實用護肝指南」】，向大眾講解甲、乙、丙型肝炎的預防、治療及日常護肝重點。
林醫生提醒，預防肝癌應由控制肝炎開始，及早篩查有助及早跟進及治療。基金會總幹事黃文達先生代表致送紀念獎座以感謝林醫生的專業分享。

📢 Recap of “HepaBuddy” First Special Seminar｜Event Week Continues

The Hong Kong AIDS Foundation held its first special seminar yesterday, 28 July, at its Shau Kei Wan Headquarters. The seminar, titled “Lifelong Liver Protection – Knowledge × Prevention × Treatment × Management – Your Lifetime Practical Liver Care Guide”, was delivered by Dr. Kelvin Lam, Specialist in Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Dr. Lam shared key information on the prevention, treatment and management of Hepatitis A, B and C, and reminded the public that early screening is important for timely follow-up and treatment. A memorial trophy was presented by our Chief Executive, Mr. Timothy Wong, in appreciation of Dr. Lam's professional sharing.
