“WE SERVE”
• Με ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία και σε κλίμα Λαϊονικής ενότητας πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή 31 Ιουλίου 2026, στο αίθριο του Bar Restaurant Mayor, στο Κολωνάκι, η επίσημη Τελετή Παράδοσης – Παραλαβής της Προεδρίας και Εγκατάστασης του νέου Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Λέσχης Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro, από την Κυβερνήτη του Θέματος Θ117Α, L. Μαρία Κάτρη, παρουσία της προηγούμενης Κυβερνήτη, L. Πέννυ Εμμανουήλ, αξιωματούχων του Θέματος και Λεσχών, καθώς και μελών της Λαϊονικής οικογένειας, οι οποίοι τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους την εκδήλωση.

• Η τελετή ξεκίνησε με την τήρηση ενός λεπτού σιγής, ως ελάχιστο φόρο τιμής στη μνήμη των πυροσβεστών που έχασαν τη ζωή τους εν ώρα καθήκοντος, επιδεικνύοντας ύψιστη αυτοθυσία για την προστασία της ανθρώπινης ζωής και του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος.

• Στη συνέχεια της τελετής, η οποία αποτέλεσε μία ιδιαίτερα σημαντική στιγμή για τη Λέσχη, πραγματοποιήθηκε η επίσημη ανάληψη των καθηκόντων του νέου Προέδρου της Λέσχης Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro, L. Ανδρέα Ζαρταλούδη και του νεοεκλεγέντος Δ.Σ.

• Με έντονη συγκίνηση, η Λέσχη τίμησε την Ιδρυτική της Πρόεδρο, L. Χριστίνα Γαλιλαία, απονέμοντάς της τιμητική αναμνηστική πλακέτα ως ελάχιστη ένδειξη ευγνωμοσύνης για την πίστη που έγινε η δύναμη με την οποία έθεσε τα θεμέλια του Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro. Ήταν μια στιγμή βαθιάς αναγνώρισης της πολύτιμης παρακαταθήκης που αφήνει στις επόμενες γενιές Lions, υπενθυμίζοντας ότι:
«η πραγματική προσφορά αφήνει ανεξίτηλο αποτύπωμα στον χρόνο».

• Από τον Πρόεδρο, στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης, παρουσιάστηκε και διανεμήθηκε σε όλα τα μέλη της Λέσχης και όχι μόνο, το νέο Εγχειρίδιο Προέδρου, μία έκδοση που αποτυπώνει το όραμα, τις αξίες, τους στόχους και το επιχειρησιακό πλάνο της Λέσχης για τη νέα Λαϊονική Χρονιά.

η Λέσχη Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro συνεχίζει με προσήλωση την αποστολή της:

* With great success and in a spirit of Lionism and fellowship, the Official Handover Ceremony of the Presidency and Installation of the New Board of Directors of Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro was held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the courtyard of Mayor Bar Restaurant in Kolonaki. The ceremony was officiated by the District 117A Governor, Lion Maria Katri, in the presence of the Immediate Past District Governor, Lion Penny Emmanouil, District and Club officers, as well as members of the Lions family, all of whom honored the occasion with their presence.

* The ceremony commenced with a one-minute silence in tribute to the firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty, demonstrating the highest level of self-sacrifice in the protection of human life and the natural environment.

* A highlight of the evening was the official induction of the Club’s new President, Lion Andreas Zartaloudis, together with the newly elected Board of Directors of Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro, marking the beginning of a new Lions year dedicated to service.

* In a deeply moving moment, the Club honored its Founding President, Lion Christina Galilaia, by presenting her with a commemorative plaque as a token of sincere gratitude for the vision, faith, and determination with which she laid the foundations of Lions Club Athens Kallimarmaro. It was a moment of profound appreciation for the lasting legacy she leaves to future generations of Lions, reminding us that:
“True service leaves an indelible mark on time.”

* During the event, President Lion Andreas Zartaloudis also presented and distributed the Club’s new President’s Handbook to all members and guests. The publication reflects the Club’s vision, values, objectives, and strategic plan for the new Lions Year.
