_’’Mari is a Sussex artist and print maker who attends Superstar Arts in Worthing.
She creates distinctive artworks, using water-based ink markers. Her original drawings are reinterpreted as iPad paintings and as hand-printed screen prints.
Mari loves portraiture.
Her work readily captures the essence of her subjects and represents them in a unique, joyful and often amusing way.
As a learning disabled and autistic young woman, making art is a fundamental aspect of her life and identity. She has no formal art training but simply loves to draw and print.
Mari’s work is sold at various Sussex art Trails and Open Exhibitions, as well as a number of local galleries and shops.’’_
