Just42 is a Christian charity providing activities and support for children and young people in rural Suffolk.

Just42 will be taking part in the National Day of Prayer for Schools on Wednesday 9th September.

We would love for you to join us in prayer at the Fred Reynolds Centre, Woodbridge, between 10:00am and 4:30pm.

The centre will be open throughout the day, so please feel free to drop in at any time to pray with us. Refreshments will be available, however please bring lunch if you are planning on staying.

We will also be leading a more structured prayer gathering from 12:00pm to 12:30pm you are very welcome to join us for this.

Please could you share this invitation with anyone you feel would like to join us.

Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator - Maternity Cover

Do you have a heart for supporting young people and helping them thrive?

Just42 is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role is based at Farlingaye High School and involves coordinating our one-to-one mentoring programme, supporting volunteer mentors, delivering schools work, and helping young people navigate the challenges of secondary school.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for working with young people.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player.
• Can organise and coordinate volunteers and projects.
• Shares our Christian ethos and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.

Volunteer Needed – Help Keep Our Youth Club Running!

We're looking for a volunteer to join our team at Grundisburgh Off the Bus Club.

When: Once a fortnight during term time
Time: Tuesdays, 3:30pm–5:30pm

To help keep the club running, we need another volunteer to support Will and Sandra in running our existing youth club. It's a fantastic opportunity to get to know some of the amazing young people in our village and make a real difference in your local community.

No previous experience is necessary, we're simply looking for someone with a heart for supporting young people.

Even if you could only help once a month, we'd still love to hear from you.

And that's the last Kids' Club of the year!

It's been a fantastic year, and we've loved getting to know all the children. A huge thank you to Gwyn and Guy from Woodbridge Quay Church, Julie from Just42 and Miriam our wonderful volunteer for working alongside us and helping make each session such a success.

Thank you to the The Company of Four for the hire of the Fred Reynolds Centre.

We hope you all have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you again in September!

Over the past few weeks, Just42 has supported 12 primary schools, seeing 260 young people as they prepare for the exciting transition from primary to high school.

It has been a privilege to help young people talk about any worries they may have, explore where they can go for support, and share what they're looking forward to. Most importantly, we've been able to let them know that Just42 will be a friendly face they can come and chat to when they start at Farlingaye and Kesgrave high schools.

We wish every young person finishing their final days at primary school the very best of luck for the next chapter. Remember, we'll be at Farlingaye and Kesgrave High School, so come and say hello if you need us, we're here for you!

A huge thank you to all the primary schools that made us feel so welcome, to the dedicated Just42 staff who worked so hard to deliver these sessions, and to our fantastic volunteers from Quay Church and Michelle from the Army Welfare Service for their invaluable support. Thanks also to East Suffolk Council for funding the minibuses to transport children from Hollesley, Orford and Bawdsey Primary schools to Sandlings Primary school for their joint activity day.

We can't wait to see you all in September!
