Little Art Lab workshops aren’t just for my regular classes! I also offer creative sessions for schools, nurseries, Rainbows, Brownies, Cubs, libraries, community groups and more. 💜

Whether you’re looking for a special themed activity, a hands-on art workshop or something creative to bring your group together, I’d love to help you make it happen.

🖌️ I can come to you, bringing creative activities to your setting, or you can come to me at Wolverhampton Arts Centre!

Workshops can be tailored to suit your group’s age range, interests and theme, with plenty of opportunities to explore, experiment and get creative.

POV: Your toddler’s art class involves painting their own feet… 👣😂

Our Mini Makers went all out with this week’s Where the Wild Things Are inspired session!

👹 Painting their very own Wild Things
🎨 Turning paper plates into wild monster faces
👑 Decorating crowns fit for the king of the Wild Things
👣 And finishing with a wonderfully messy, paint-covered wild rumpus!

At Mini Makers, I love seeing little artists have the freedom to explore, experiment and get creative in their own way. Sometimes that means using a paintbrush… and sometimes it means getting your feet involved! 🤣

The best bit? You get to take home the artwork, and leave behind the mess!

Our Tiny Creatives stepped into the magical world of Where the Wild Things Are this week!

Inspired by the story, our little artists made footprint art, decorated their own wild thing, made crowns, experimenting with materials and joined in their own wild rumpus!

At Tiny Creatives, it’s all about the process, not the finished product, giving little ones the freedom to explore, discover and create at their own pace.

Celebrate Diwali with a little creativity! 🪔

Join Little Art Lab for a special Diwali Art Workshop, where little artists can explore colourful patterns, create beautiful henna-inspired hand designs and make their own artwork to take home. 🌈

All activities are adapted to suit little ones aged from 9 months up to 4 years.

📅 Saturday 7th November, 1-2pm

One of my favourite things about this unit has been getting to link our art activities to some of our favourite stories!

I absolutely love reading to the little ones and seeing how we can bring the stories to life through our art. It’s been so much fun taking inspiration from the books we’ve shared together. 🎨

This week in Young Artists, we explored abstract illustration!

Inspired by the idea that illustrations don’t always have to show a recognisable scene, the children experimented with colour, shape, line, texture and layering to create their own imaginative artwork.

We chose our backgrounds then built up our illustrations using collage, paint and oil pastel. I encouraged the children to see where the artwork took them rather than worrying about making it look like something specific.

It was brilliant to see how differently everyone interpreted the same idea!
