🏰 Designing Buildings for Our Worlds 🏰
This week at Young Artists, we explored the imaginative architecture of Hundertwasser and the whimsical buildings of Dr Seuss before setting off to design the a building from our own worlds.
We began with a quick design challenge, creating homes for giant snails, evil wizards, fairies and other unusual inhabitants, before developing our own unique buildings inspired by the worlds we have been creating over the past few weeks.
Using white pen on black paper, collage materials, metallic pens and pattern, the children transformed simple shapes into extraordinary buildings full of character and story.
From magical castles and wizard shops to fantastical homes and super-cat towers, every building had a story to tell. The creativity and imagination on display were incredible!
✨ What kind of building would you design?
