🛍️🐾 REMINDER - WE’RE CLOSED TODAY! 🐾🛍️

Just a little reminder that our Wings & Paws Shop is CLOSED today for the Bank Holiday. ☀️

Our amazing volunteers are taking a well deserved day off to rest, relax, recharge and probably drink an unreasonable amount of tea! ☕😂

We’ll be back open as normal tomorrow, Tuesday 1st September and ready to welcome you all back! 🥰

🛍️🐾 OUR WINGS & PAWS SHOP IS CLOSED ON MONDAY 🐾🛍️

Just a little heads up that our Wings & Paws Shop will be CLOSED on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday. ☀️

Our wonderful volunteers will be taking a well deserved day off to rest, relax, put their feet up and enjoy a nice cuppa or two! ☕😂

They work incredibly hard helping to keep the shop running and raising those all important pennies for the animals in our care, so we reckon they’ve earned a little R&R! ❤️🐾

We’ll be back open as normal on Tuesday 1st September, refreshed, rested and hopefully fully caffeinated! 😂☕

💗🐾 THEO HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! 🐾💗

And just like that, our gorgeous little Theo has gone from being a rescue kitten looking for their family to being a much loved member of one! 🥹🏡

We are absolutely delighted to say that Theo has now been rehomed and has officially joined her new family. 🎉💕

We couldn’t be happier for this little one. A whole new chapter ahead of her, filled with love, cuddles, comfy beds, tasty treats and, naturally, the expectation that she will now be waited on paw and foot. 😹👑

But don’t worry… if you fell in love with Theo and are disappointed - we’ve got you covered! 😹

We have lots more gorgeous cats and kittens waiting patiently for their forever families, each with their own little personality and a whole lot of love to give. 🐾❤️

🐾💙 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY! 💙🐾

Today is all about celebrating one of the best things on four legs… DOGS! 🐶🥰

The goofy ones.
The cuddly ones.
The ones who think they’re lap dogs despite being the size of a small horse. 😂
The ones who steal your socks, your sofa and occasionally your sanity!

But here at Wings & Paws, International Dog Day also means celebrating something a little more important…

SECOND CHANCES. 🐾❤️

Every dog who comes through our rescue has their own story. Some have been abandoned, some have been neglected, some have simply found themselves in circumstances that weren't their fault.

Whatever their past, they all deserve the same thing…

A safe home.
A full tummy.
A warm bed.
A family to love them.
And the chance to simply be a DOG. 🥹🐶

Today, we're celebrating every dog who has left Wings & Paws with their very own forever family, and we're sending a huge dose of love to all those still waiting patiently for their turn. 💙

And of course, we couldn't do any of this without our incredible fosterers, adopters, volunteers, supporters and everyone who donates, shares a post, buys something from our shop or simply stops to say, "Oh my goodness, look at that face!" 😂

Because sometimes, one share really can change a life.

So today, give your dog an extra cuddle, an extra treat and perhaps pretend not to notice when they steal your spot on the sofa. 😉

❤️ RUFUS HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️

Well, this is a rather lovely update to share... our gorgeous boy Rufus has officially been adopted! 🥹🐾

The very last one of our puppy litter babies has packed his tiny belongings, said goodbye to his foster family and headed off to begin his brand new life with his forever family. 🐶🏡

We are absolutely THRILLED for him!

Rufus has been loved, cared for and prepared for this very special moment, and now the adventures really begin. ❤️

We hope his new home is filled with everything a puppy could possibly wish for... endless cuddles, exciting adventures, comfy beds, tasty treats and just the right amount of mischief! 😂

From arriving in rescue to watching them all head off to start their new lives, it's been quite the journey.
Go and be fabulous, Rufus. Your happily ever after starts NOW! 🐾💙

We know times are tough.

The weekly food shop costs more. Bills keep arriving. And somehow, £2 doesn’t seem to stretch very far anymore! 😩

💙 HAPPY EVER AFTER FOR ROCKY! 💙

And just like that... our gorgeous boy Rocky has officially left Wings & Paws and headed off to his very own forever home! 🥹🐾

We are absolutely thrilled for this handsome lad and couldn't have wished for a happier ending for him.

His new family are incredibly excited to welcome him, and we know he is going to be thoroughly loved, completely spoilt and very much part of the family!

There will be new adventures, muddy paws, chewed toys, zoomies and no doubt the occasional bit of mischief... exactly as it should be! 😂

We have some sad news to share.
Earlier this week we sadly had to put our beautiful Savannah to sleep 🥺

Savannah was still just a baby really, around 4 years old, but she came to us with a very bad back injury and had been living on borrowed time ever since we got her.

She had the best life with us, even thought it was short. She lives as normal life as possible with her herd of Wings and Paws Rescue horses and loved her time with us.

Sadly, the injury became too much for her, and the only kind thing to do was to see her peacefully off to sleep.
