What a fantastic day at The Wivey Show today. Lots of interest in our military memorabilia, and buying raffle tickets for the amazing hampers we had on offer. And a great boost in our membership numbers. Thank you to everyone who joined or bought a raffle ticket. We do live in a great community .

Come and find us by the War Memorial in the Rec at this years Wivey Flower Show. Saturday 15th August 12pm onwards.
We’ll have our stand there full of memorabilia to admire as well as a fantastic array of hampers to be won. Even one for the kids too! And if you’re really lucky, you can be set up ready for winter by winning a dumpy bag of logs. All chopped up by some of our members. The wood is from felled trees supplied by our chairman from his farm up in the hills. So buy a raffle ticket or 10 and while you’re there you can sign up and become a member of the Wivey branch too and help us celebrate our centenary year 🎉

Last night our chairman Mac hosted a members sleep out at his beautiful farm up high in the hills. An afternoon of team building, log splitting the felled trees on the land which certainly worked up an appetite to enjoy a fab bbq around the camp fire, with everyone then collapsing into their accommodation for the night. A great time had by all 🏕️ 🔥 🪵 🍗
The big dumpy bag of logs photographed will be up for grabs at our stall at the Wivey Flower show this year on 15th August, so come and see us to try and win it 🙌
