The dry season has begun in Monze 🇿🇲🌞 the busy farming season is over.

Which means football is back, and so are we.

We’re starting this season with something that matters.

This Easter Monday, we completed a long awaited solar installation at Makonka Clinic. 🐣

➡️ No woman in Makonka will give birth in the dark again 🕯️
➡️ Soon the clinic will have its first ever capacity for refrigerated medicines 💊
➡️ The lone district nurse will no longer have to attempt life-saving emergency care by torch-light 🔦

This project was made possible by the incredible support behind last year’s The Africa Rally

Back in 2019, I was working alone for months at a small OVC school in rural Zambia. One afternoon, I sat outside a shanty shop with the school manager. We cracked open two Fantas in the heat and dust, and we asked something that changed our lives:

👉 “Do you believe we’re here by accident? or that God brought us here for a reason?”

That single question lit the spark for what would become the Euroza Foundation.

Two men, with little more than conviction, decided to believe there was a reason, that we could build something lasting for the youth around us. That everyone is afforded chances to help those in need.

Six years later, in 2025, that spark has become a mission: NGO certificates in two countries, football teams across villages, young people gaining skills and exchanging knowledge, friends from around the world and entire communities finding hope in themselves. Thousands of lives touched. Countless futures strengthened.

Now, the road leads further still. We are preparing to expand our works a lot in the coming months, carrying forward the same spark that began with a bottle of Fanta and a question about destiny.

Was it chance? Or was it purpose? We chose to believe it was purpose.

🚀 Exciting News from Euroza! 🚀

Today marks a major step forward in our mission.

We’re proud to announce that plans are officially underway to launch Village Banking & Social Enterprise Micro Loans across our communities.

This is more than just finance, it’s true economic empowerment.

✅ Groups of young entrepreneurs will form village banking circles.
✅ They’ll receive targeted micro loans to launch and grow income-generating projects.
✅ Every repayment will help fund new groups, creating a cycle of opportunity that keeps on giving.

For us, this is the fulfilment of one of Euroza’s original dreams, helping youth not only access opportunities but own their future.

Stay tuned as we roll this out. The work has begun, the energy is real, and the impact will be felt for years to come.

Together, we’re building livelihoods. Together, we’re building futures.

🏆 Victory for Makonka Euroza FC! 🏆

Yesterday, our youth team Makonka Euroza FC ⚽️ rose to the top - crowned champions of the Hamangaba Ward Tournament out of 10 strong teams! 💪

They walked away with K1,000 in prize money and a brand new set of jerseys!

Plus they did it with the whole community cheering, and even national coverage from ZNBC and other media.

This is more than football. This is proof of what our youth in Makonka can achieve when given a chance.

But while our team celebrates on the pitch, their families still face heartbreak off it.

👉 50,000 people in Makonka remain without a functioning health clinic. Mothers give birth in the dark. Children fight malaria without medicine. The community has scraped and saved for 18 years — and still only has one bed. 🙏

We want their next victory to be a clinic that saves lives.

They’ve shown the world their strength. Now we need Victory for Makonka Euroza FC! 🏆 to show up for them.💥

The chibwali hatembo memorial tournament which commenced this morning, and about 10 teams are ready to participate in this tournament which is going to run from Monday to Friday this week ,this tournament is an important event where Euroza foundation decided togather with the hatembo family and makonka community to be held every year in rememberce and honour of our friend ,who was the best goali for makonka euroza Fc ,we are hoping to conduct some community meetings during this period , where we shall be able to discuss issues with hundreds of youths concerning early marriages, child abuse, early pregnancy, new methods of farming ,skills trainings ,HIv Aids and many more, you are free to come and meet the euroza team,euroza board members, and euroza community leaders ,come at makonka primary school grounds, and meet strong public speakers, we believe and trust that after this meeting you won't be the same ,
