The expiry dates are well after Christmas so plenty will be saved for our Christmas Hamper Appeal, which will be here before we know it!

We are thrilled for Martin and the team at Action For Homeless Liverpool!

They deserve wonderful things for the amazing work that they do ❤️

Martin pops into the Storehouse Project weekly to collect food, tents, sleeping bags, rolls mats and clothing and is always grateful for the support of our donators.

Well done team!

The start of our new week and we have some really brilliant news to share!
Firstly we are extremely grateful to National Lottery Community Fund for awarding Action For Homeless Liverpool with funding of just under £20,000 for the next 2 years.
This will enable us to increase our presence on the street from the present 4 to 7 days a week, ensuring our homeless will always have access to the support we can provide.
On top of this we are so thankful to the Hare Krishna community in Liverpool for gifting us a large former office space near the city centre. This will be used to stock up on supplies of emergency items ( tents sleeping bags ,ruck sacks etc as well as toiletries, dry food stuffs and clothing for this upcoming winter.
Alongside our partners in the Catholic Achdiocese, together with other homeless community activists , we are setting up an action group focused on ways of keeping our rough sleepers safe from harm while facing street homelessness within our city region.
With this exciting news we're now facing these up coming challenges with renewed hope and determination. Thank you for continuing to support us and for always keeping the homeless in your thoughts and prayers 🙏

We are incredibly grateful to P&G for their generous donation of 12 mixed pallets of essential everyday items! 📦✨

​Our warehouse shelves are now well stocked with a great variety of shampoos, conditioners, toiletries, fabric softeners, cleaning supplies, and washing products.

​These items will directly support our clients who need them the most.

We will be sharing surplus stock with other fantastic local charities and support groups across the area to ensure help reaches as many people as possible. 💙

On Friday we responded to a request to support a local family who lost their home and all of their belongings in a house fire.

​Thanks to the kindness of our donors, we were able to step in quickly. We loaded up the van with essential items to help them start over: beds, a sofa, chairs, tables, drawers, bedding, blankets, clothes, food and kitchen essentials.

​This is exactly why the Storehouse Project exists: to be here for people in our community whenever crisis hits, for whatever reason.

​We are so deeply grateful to everyone who supports us—whether through donating items, funding or time.

Our Grace Shop in the Concourse Shopping Centre has beautiful items of clothing, interesting trinkets and fascinating bits and bobs. You could look around a dozen times and still spot something new hiding in the corners!

​Pop in for a browse, to uncover a bargain or simply a warm chat with our wonderful team.

​Best of all, every single purchase goes directly towards supporting our charity the Storehouse Project and making a real difference in our community.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Kat and the team at Heinz UK Wigan for their incredible generosity! 🥫❤️

​Once again Kat reached out to donate several pallets of much needed beans to our food bank. As a extra bonus the beans arrived in handy canvas bags which we’ll be reusing for our food parcels! 🛍️✨

​Heinz have supported our charity for many, many years. What makes this partnership so special is that we don’t even have to ask—they always just seem to know exactly when our food bank needs a boost.

We are so grateful for the funding we received from The National Lottery Community Fund ✨️

This fund supports our work in many ways, including the provision of brand new kettles, toasters and microwaves for our starter packs.

​For individuals and families starting over after facing homelessness, fleeing domestic abuse or navigating other difficult circumstances, these packs provide the essentials needed to turn a house into a home.

We rely on donations for these items, so having this funding to ensure that we can provide essential electrical items gives us incredible reassurance.

A massive thank you to Lisa at Wincanton! 🥫

​Lisa got in touch last week to offer this huge donation of beans and soup for our food bank. Bulk, staple items like these are the backbone of our food parcels.

​Lisa has recently taken on this role and we are thrilled that she is keeping us in her thoughts.
