💖 A PERSONAL THANK YOU FROM OUR CHAIR 💖

What an unbelievable, unforgettable day! As my very first year stepping into the role of Chair for the Wickford Town Carnival, I truly couldn't be more thankful, humbled, and proud. 🌟

To me, carnival is all about bringing people together - celebrating friends, family, incredible community support, and creating wonderful memories and good times. Seeing our Town come together with so many smiles, cheers, and warm wishes made every single moment of planning worth it. 🥹✨

A very special, huge thank you goes to my wonderful Vice Chair, Sarah. Thank you for walking alongside me on this journey through countless late nights, endless planning, and non-stop organisation. I couldn't have done any of this without you by my side! 👯‍♀️💪❤️

On a deeply personal note, I want to send a massive thank you to my amazing Mum and Daughter. You both have been by my side, supporting me constantly throughout this whole journey. Having three generations of our family together in the parade yesterday was a moment I will treasure forever! 👑💖

To my wonderful Carnival Court—thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, trusting me, and shining so brightly all year round and especially yesterday. You make us all so proud! 👑💖✨

I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible volunteers, generous sponsors, visiting courts, entertainers, vendors, and above all, YOU—the wonderful people of Wickford! Your overwhelming support and kind words mean the world to me. ❤️

Thank you for making my first year as Chair so special. Here’s to keeping our town’s tradition thriving! 👑🎉

👑 QUEENS' TEA & VISITING COURTS RESULTS! ☕🧁✨

After a busy parade, all of our wonderful visiting Courts headed over to The Nevendon Centre for a delicious Queen's Tea buffet! All that enthusiasm, smiling, and waving along the parade route is definitely hungry work! 😋🥪

Every single court did brilliantly and represented their towns amazingly! We honestly wish you could all walk away with trophies! 🏆💖

Our judge had a very tough decision, but here are the official results for the Visiting Courts category:

🥇 1st Place: Jaywick Sands Carnival Court - Built by Sonny's Army

🥈 2nd Place: Basildon and Pitsea Carnival

🥉 3rd Place: Witham Carnival

A huge congratulations to our winners, and a heartfelt thank you to every Court that traveled to support us. You all looked truly regal and brought so much magic to Wickford yesterday! 👑🎉
