Growing Connections, One Garden at a Time 💚

Our Social Prescriber, Annette, recently met with a patient at Herne Bay in Bloom to introduce them to the wonderful community garden and everything it has to offer.

What started as an introduction has blossomed into a new opportunity, with the patient now planning to volunteer there on a regular basis. 🌼

Social prescribing is all about connecting people with activities and communities that can improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, and build confidence. It’s fantastic to see local spaces like Herne Bay in Bloom helping people grow new friendships, skills, and a sense of belonging.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making our community such a welcoming place. 🌿💛

National Volunteers Week Celebration!

Red Zebra simply wouldn’t be what it is without the dedication, kindness and commitment of our incredible volunteers who give their time to support the Car Service.

As a small thank you, we hosted a special afternoon tea yesterday — a few hours filled with conversation, delicious food and plenty of smiles.

A huge thank you to Crescent Turner for welcoming us so warmly. We’re so grateful for everything our volunteers do.
