Have you heard about Whitstable Toys ? It's a free toy swap shop / library open to everyone and did I mention it's totally FREE !
Normally it's all online via the above facebook group which anyone is welcome to join however tomorrow we have an open session as we have so many donations at the moment we cant keep up!
From 10am tomorrow, Monday all our current stock will be available for you to come and help yourself to on our drive, 84 Borstal Hill.
There will be some old stock but also plenty of new donations we simply haven't had time to upload so come along and help yourself, there will be plenty of toys, books for all ages, puzzles, games etc and it's all FREE

This week at Chatterbox baby and toddler group (tomorrow morning, Friday) our book is Emergency so we have an emergency themed morning planned. As well as all our usual toys and activities we hope to have an ambulance visit us so we can have a look inside and try out their blue lights!

Chatterbox Baby & Toddler Group

Welcome to our page! Chatterbox is a local baby and toddler group that is now in it’s 23rd year...! The group is open to anyone with children aged 0 - 5 and meets on Friday mornings (term-time only), 9.15am - 11.15am. Chatterbox is held in a lovely church hall (St John’s Centre, Swalecliffe, Whitstable, Kent CT5 2QU) which has a main room where all the toys are and a smaller room, accessed from the main room, where crafts, playdough, etc happen.

Your first visit is free! Following visits cost just £1 per adult and 50p per child, which includes drinks and a snack for all. There is usually a hands-on craft/art/messy play area as well as lots of toys to play with including ride-ons, play tent and tunnel, cars and garage, castles, shape-sorters, wooden puzzles, and lots more. There is always a lovely selection of toddler-friendly books too.

The group is run by volunteers who all have enhanced DBS checks. We also have a closed Facebook group, ‘Chatterbox Toddlers’, which is used for messages and notices.

It would be lovely to welcome you and your child(ren) to Chatterbox!
