From engaging with young people and preventing antisocial behaviour to tackling illegal e-bikes, here’s some of the things our Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) have been up to this week.

In Leamington, officers have been targeting illegal e-bikes and antisocial riding, seizing nine dangerous e-bikes and issuing ten traffic tickets as part of our ongoing efforts to make our roads safer.

In Alcester, SNT joined Neighbourhood Watch for a crime prevention event, handing out home security devices and sharing advice on how to keep yourself safe and report a crime.

Over in Nuneaton, PCSOs were putting up signs to help young people recognise peer pressure and speaking to them about the consequences of antisocial behaviour, encouraging them to make positive choices instead of following the crowd.

In North Warwickshire, officers patrolled throughout the night following a recent spate of vehicle crime, deterring offenders and helping to keep residents safe.

As the heatwave eased, Rugby SNT gave us an insight into how they’re continuing to engage with young people at the Rugby Youth Summer Hub.

Rounding off the week, the Women’s Tour of Britain is heading to the south of the county. If you're nearby, come along and cheer on the riders as they race to the finish line in Leamington.

Finally, huge congratulations to our Cadets and everyone who received their GCSE results this week, we wish you the best as you take your next steps.
