Ermington Sustainable Saturdays (ESS)

Ermington Sustainable Saturdays (ESS) Ermington Sustainable Saturdays was founded in 2011 as a community-based market. Founded by Ro Hughes, Marina Auburn, Nicky Scutt and Richard Hodson.

Although the bi-weekly markets no longer take place, ESS still host the ever popular Seedling swap in spring and the Twilight Fair held in the church during December. The purpose of Ermington Sustainable Saturdays (ESS) and the aim of the Team, as representatives from the community, are to provide and sustain a regular social opportunity where people can exchange news, goods – vegetables, jam, cra

fts etc., chat over coffee and discuss and advertise local events; to reinforce the great community spirit Ermington deservedly holds. Ermington Sustainable Saturdays is held every second Saturday between 10am and 12 noon in Ermington's very own Reading Rooms. (Situated along the main road through Ermington, just in front of the church). All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you there.
