⚽️U13 Real⚽️

W&C 3 - 7 RCA

⚽️ Josh - Nath - Olly
🏆 Alex

Tough week for the lads against the best opposition we’ve played this season. We created some really good chances again this week but we didn’t take them and got punished by RCA for it in the end.

POTM Alex was superb on the wing, up against a couple of big lads he kept going and never gave up - creating plenty of chances for us and getting really stuck in defensively.

We go again 🟡⚫️

⚽ Match Report: A Late Winner Against Washy Wildcats! 🐺

Today saw us take on Washy Wildcats in a scrappy game that wasn't our finest display. Washy used an unusual formation, and despite having most of the ball, we were caught by a through ball that gave them the lead.

Going behind sparked a response. Our play improved, and we began creating chances, though Washy's keeper did well to keep us out. The breakthrough came when lovely passing led to Aoife's perfectly weighted through ball for Amanda, who finished well to level the game.

HT: 1-1

At half-time, the message was clear: don't let Washy settle and keep pushing for chances.

The girls continued to press, with Mylah, Amanda, Erin, Aoife, Emmy and Darcey all going close. As time ran out, Emmy won the ball back on the edge of our box and played it into Aoife, who sent another excellent through ball into Mylah's path.

Mylah raced through, shot, and saw the ball fumble off the keeper and cross the line! ⚽🔥

A brilliant late winner and a fantastic example of why you never stop playing until the final whistle!

It wasn't our prettiest performance, but the girls showed determination and found a way to win.

👏 Special mentions to Isabelle and Erin, who both put in fine displays today. Well done, girls!

🏆 POTM: Aoife

Today's Player of the Match is Aoife. She worked tirelessly to press and win the ball, while also showing excellent quality and vision. Her two brilliant assists were crucial, creating both goals and helping turn the game around.

Well deserved, Aoife! 👏⚽

Final thought: Not always pretty, but full of heart, determination and a never-say-die attitude. The girls kept believing until the end, and that's what it's all about! 💪💙

Tough day in blustery conditions, went behind after an individual error and never got back into it.

MoM Josh had another good game at left back, getting stuck in throughout.

⚽️U13 Real⚽️

W&C 3 - 8 Hetton Milan

⚽️ Alex - Josh - Max
🏆 Max

We led the game twice, controlled most of the first half and still somehow got to the break 3-2 down. After half time we kept creating chances but it just wasn’t meant to be and our heads dropped as Hetton took full advantage of us chasing the game.

This weeks MoM goes to Max Carr, a real captain’s performance in the middle of the park and kept going to the very end.

We learn and go again 🟡⚫️

Washington 2-2 Whitburn

The lads were absoutley brilliant today and throughly deserved to win the game. Unfortunately a few decisions didn't go our way and we had to fight to get a draw.

Goals came from lucas and taylor

Taylor picking up motm, got kicked to bits in the middle of midfield and just kept going and going and got our equaliser.

Well done lads 🟡⚫️🟡⚫️
