🍺 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗬? 𝗪𝗘'𝗩𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗! 🍹

Whether you’re enjoying the entertainment, browsing the market village or taking in everything Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend has to offer, you’ll be pleased to know that refreshments are never far away.

This year, Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend will be running its very own licensed can bar, serving a range of drinks to suit all tastes. Whether you’re after a cold pint of Fosters, a refreshing Guinness, a can of Fanta, an Irn-Bru or something else to keep you going throughout the day, we’ve got you covered.

We’re also delighted to be welcoming the fantastic Shake & Sip Mobile Bar, who will be serving a selection of wines, prosecco, cocktails, spritzers, slushes and spirits throughout the weekend.

Best of all, can and cocktail purchased helps support the future of the event. All profits raised through our bar operation will be reinvested directly into Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 2027, helping us continue to deliver one of the region’s biggest free community events.

So when you stop by for a drink, you’re not just quenching your thirst – you’re helping support the future of Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend.

💙 We would also encourage visitors to pop along to the Sunderland Heaven Branch stall at 1:00pm on Sunday 28th June, where they will be holding a very special Bubble Release for Lost Loved Ones. What a fantastic day it was on Saturday as Rob Horn very kindly organised a 12-hour fundraiser in support of Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend.

We are absolutely delighted to share that the event raised an incredible £1,992.80 for Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 2026

A huge thank you must go to Rob, who put an enormous amount of time, effort and dedication into making the event happen. From the planning and organisation right through to the day itself, his hard work was instrumental in making the fundraiser such a success, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he has done.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the bands, performers and sound technicians who generously gave up their time to entertain everyone throughout the day. Your support and commitment to the Armed Forces community is greatly appreciated.

Finally, thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, made a donation, bought raffle tickets, or simply came along to support the event. Without you, achievements like this simply wouldn’t be possible.

The money raised will go directly towards helping us deliver Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend and ensuring we can continue to provide a free event for veterans, serving personnel, their families and the wider community.

Thank you all for your amazing support. 🇬🇧
