Just a few weeks to go until Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 2026 and we honestly can’t wait!

From Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June, Seaburn Recreation Park and Roker Cliff Park will come alive as we come together to celebrate the Armed Forces community and everything that makes Sunderland such a fantastic place.

There will be something for everyone across the weekend, including:

The event remains completely FREE to attend thanks to the support of our sponsors, partners, volunteers and everyone who has helped us along the way.

We’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of people to the Sunderland seafront for what promises to be our biggest Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend yet.

In just one week, the Navy Club will be hosting their fantastic fundraiser in support of this year’s Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 🇬🇧

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and supporting the event. Every penny raised helps us continue to grow Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend and keep it free for the community to enjoy.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the singers and performers who have been in touch over the past couple of days about being involved in this year’s Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 🇬🇧

We are currently working our way through all messages and emails and will respond to everyone as quickly as possible.

One thing that has become abundantly clear is just how kind and generous people are, and how much support there is for community events like this that celebrate and support our armed forces community.

The response so far has been incredible and we genuinely appreciate every single person who has reached out ❤️🤍💙

We are currently seeking quotes for professional first aid event support for this year’s Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend 2026.

📅 Dates: Friday 26th – Sunday 28th June 2026
📍 Locations: Roker Cliff Park & Seaburn Recreation Park

This is a large, free community event with thousands of attendees expected across the weekend, so we’re looking for experienced providers who can deliver reliable and comprehensive first aid cover throughout.

URGENT APPEAL!!

I am in the process of arranging a funeral for a gentleman who served within the 1st battalion of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders regiment.

It would mean a lot to his family and be a great tribute to him and his service if we could arrange to have representation from this regiment and/or from any of the armed forces at his funeral.
