Chris Stanton joined WOW in the 90s, building a foundation that led to a professional acting career—originating roles in West End hits like Legally Blonde, as well as working in TV and film.

But his favorite takeaway? The lifelong friends he made, including the best man at his wedding!

His advice for tomorrow? “If you’re thinking about joining the workshop on Sunday, just say yes. If I could do it all over again, I certainly would.”

Isaac used his time at WOW to build on his skills and confidence, which helped him land a spot at the prestigious Italia Conti, where he’s now in his first year! 🚀

From Weymouth to the West End stage! 🎭✨

Harry Lake went from WOW to graduating from the Guildford School of Acting, and has since starred in West End hit productions like Les Misérables and The Book of Mormon.

Harry joined WOW having been dancing since he was a toddler but what he found amazing was how the group brought everyone together—combining seasoned performers with lads who had never stepped into a dance class before.

His advice? "Get yourself down to the WOW workshop this Sunday. You'll grow in so many ways, make new friends, and learn skills for the future." 🙌🏼

🎭 Huge Congratulations to everyone involved in the opening night of '9 to 5 The Musical' by Wessex Musical Theatre last night!

Representing WOW Youth Musical Theatre, it was a real pleasure to attend and support this terrific production at The Thomas Hardye School Theatre in Dorchester. The show is wonderfully directed and choreographed by Martine Burt.

The cast delivered a highly entertaining evening packed with energy, humour, sharp characterisation, and great musical numbers. We were especially proud to see several talented former WOW members shining as part of a very strong company.

From a "Boy with a Dream" to Professional Training 🎭✨

Fin joined WOW at 13 and used his time at WOW to build on the confidence and skills he'd already started developing before earning a spot at the prestigious Bird College!

His message to any local lads sitting on the fence?
“Think about football. The teamwork, the fitness, the endurance—The same things are needed for performance. Just give it a go.” ⚽️🔥

🎭☀️ Day Two of the Bank Holiday Weekend!
Our fabulous five WOW performers brought plenty of musical theatre magic to Fayre In The Square this morning with a fun-filled set full of energy, confidence, and joy ✨🎶
What a brilliant way to head into half-term week! We’re so proud of how professionally they represented WOW, and grateful to everyone who stopped to watch and support in the sunshine 💙👏

That's how Ben felt when he first joined WOW at 15. He's now studying for a BA (hons) in Musical Theatre at a top drama school.

If your son has an interest in acting or singing, or dancing - but might be a little bit hesitant or lacking the confidence to try, this is the time to give it a go. No experience needed. He will be surrounded by a brilliant, supportive group and team.
