Rio had a fabulous bank holiday weekend having a break with one of our volunteers.

He had a sleepover & enjoyed the sunny weekend with lots of attention 💓

We are currently going through the huge amount of applications we had for Rio, Raja & Aitch.
And getting the newbies ready for their new homes 🏠

Our lovely Raja visited the Ilkeston SNT officers today and was very well behaved 🐾

We had a special visitor at our Community Catch Up today at Castlefield Cafe. PC Dunn and PCSO Brown were lucky enough to meet Raja a stunning staffy cross who is up for adoption at the moment from the Castlefield rescue.

Both Officers adored Raja, she is such a lively, good natured girl and we are sure she will be soon find a loving new home.

Rio is a handsome young male Staffie cross who was found as a stray.

Rio needs a home with someone who is willing to put the training in, he would suit a family who want a dog to take on long walks.

Rio is an easy going boy but being a pup needs boundaries & rules in place. We believe he will be medium to large when fully grown.

Rio loves cuddles & is food motivated which makes training much easier.

Everyone say hi to Aitch 👋

Aitch is handsome 7 year old male small crossbreed.

He is searching for a forever home after being found as a stray and not reclaimed by his owners. Unfortunately we have no background information.

Aitch is dog friendly & could happily with or without doggy companion. 🐶

Aitch isn’t yet cat tested - will be done soon 🐱

Due to no known background Aitch needs a home with children 12 years + 🧒

🐾 Aitch is happy boy, he can be nervous on initially meet but doesn’t take long to warm to new people and he is your bestfriend forever. He loves his walks but also doesn’t need miles a day snd happy to be cuddled up on the sofa

Raja is a young female Staffie cross who we believe hasn’t had much socialisation in her short life.

She is a happy young lady who thrives off human attention, she is currently learning how to be on her own for short periods of time while the kennel staff look after the other rescue dogs - with the help of enrichment toys she is doing great.

Raja has shown that she hasn’t been socialised with dogs very much and would benefit from a calm mature resident dog to help her learn the life of a dog.

She needs someone with time & patience for the training Raja needs.

🐾 NEW HOME NEEDED 🐾

🐾 Name: Benji
🐶 Breed: Crossbreed
📅 Age: 6 months old
🐕 Dogs: Yes
🐈‍⬛ Cats: Yes
🧒 Children: dog savvy 9 years +

Benji is a medium sized doodle who we believe will be Labrador size. He is 6 months old and been in a few homes already.

Benji needs a home with someone who has patience & time for a puppy. He has a lot of energy & has only had some basic training so far.

Benji loves other dogs & would love a home with another dog but can be a little annoying so would be best suited to a dog who can cope with this & help him learn some manners.

Benji can be a little nervous of people initially but doesn’t take long to come round, we feel he would be better in a home with children 9 years + who are used to dogs..

Benji is fine with the resident cat so would happily live with a dog savvy cat.
