What a fantastic afternoon the Spondon Branch Royal British Legion had at the Music Festival on Saturday, raising both awareness and much-needed funds for the branch.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed their support, and helped make the day such a success.
It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and supporting a worthwhile cause.

Judging by the atmosphere, I'm sure there were a few sore heads on Sunday morning!

Thank you again to everyone involved – we couldn't do it without your support.

We have some special guests today on this 82 year anniversary of D-Day and 105 years of the spondon branch.

Not only are we honoured to welcome the Mayor of Derby to join us for this special occasion, but we are also delighted to have a very special guest, Elliot, who will be reading a thought-provoking poem of his own composition.
