**LIGHTS SWITCH ON** (Finally)

Let's get the festivities under way! Lights switch on tonight at 5.30 pm.

Sorry for short notice, I wasn't sure if I was going to be ready but it looks like I will be.

**UPDATE**

Set-up of the display has progressed well over the weekend but I'm still not quite there yet - work in progress.

I hope to have the lights on for this weekend!

I will put another post out when it's ready to go.

**This Year's Lights - Announcement**

Due to a change in personal circumstances, I am very behind setting up this year's display - I am anticipating not being up and running for another couple of weeks. I may also need to take the lights down very quickly after NYE this time around.

Therefore, the display will be reduced compared to last year. I am yet to decide if I will run the charity fundraiser this year as that also requires a lot of work to set up, advertise and maintain.

Hopefully the lights will still be impressive and bring some festivity to the neighbourhood, but I thought I'd get the word out on what to expect.

Announcement in due course regarding a switch-on date.

With the festive season over, I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone that supported the lights this year! I'm still working on taking them down bit by bit!

In total over the festive period, £282.65 was raised for Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity, between the digital and cash donations. If anyone would like to view the total, or make any last donations, the page is linked below which should stay open.

I hope to see you all visiting again at the end of 2025, with dare I say it... Even more lights...

LAST NIGHT OF THE LIGHTS!

With the winds picking up again over the course of today and tomorrow, tonight will likely be the last night of the lights for this year. They may also go off slightly earlier if the weather gets really bad, so ensure you visit early (they are on from 5) to avoid disappointment!

Thank you to everyone who has supported so far, be sure to catch us for one last time tonight before we go head into the new year!

4 Days to Go!! Christmas may be over but the lights are not! Catch them before they are!

The lights are planned to be on tonight, tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday 5-10 as usual. There may be a reduced display for the first few days into the new year but I will start taking things down gradually from New Year's day onwards.

Don't forget to come for one last visit of this year's display!

The lights are back on! The weather doesn't look too bad now up until New Years so hopefully that's the last of the disruptions!

The lights will be on 5-10 pm every day unless otherwise stated! Merry Christmas!

I am turning the lights off for the rest of tonight. Some of the light sets are being damaged by the winds so to avoid further risk I will be turning the display off for tonight. The The display should be back up running tomorrow evening. Thank you to everyone for your support so far!

Last night we spotted one of Santa's Reindeer land at the display! He brought us an early Christmas gift - a sleigh full of candy canes! What's more is that he came with a note from Santa himself, saying that this little guy and his sleigh will be sticking around until the New Year to help oversee the festivities!

Come and see the display over the weekend or the days leading up to Christmas, 5-10 pm to see what else we've added! It might take you a while to spot 🤔 If you're feeling in the spirit of giving, don't forget your loose change for the charity!
