If you travel on First Bus Route 374 between Glastonbury, Othery and Taunton, please be aware of significant changes due to the Burrowbridge road closure.

Somerset Council is providing a weekday-only shuttle service for affected communities. However, passengers should note this is very limited, with just one journey into Taunton and one return journey Monday to Friday only. Please check the timetable before travelling via the think travel website.

🚍 Alternative Travel Options

If the shuttle does not meet your travel needs, you may wish to consider:

β€’ Somerset Slinky – Pre-bookable demand responsive transport.
β€’ Hatch Green Coaches Route 51 – Connections from Athelney or North Curry.

πŸ“’ We Want to Hear From You

If you are affected by these roadworks and bus diversions, please let us know.

Your experiences help us continue to lobby for better consideration of bus passengers when roadworks are planned. Too often, the focus is on keeping traffic moving, while the impact on people who rely on public transport is overlooked.

By sharing your experience, you can help us make the case for:
βœ… Better planned diversions
βœ… Improved communication with passengers
βœ… More suitable replacement transport
βœ… Greater consideration of bus users when future roadworks are designed

Please leave a comment below or send us a direct message explaining how these works have affected your journey.

Together, we can help ensure bus passengers have a stronger voice in future transport planning.

Please share this post so it reaches everyone who may be affected. Thank you for your support.
