🔥🔥🔥🔥Take care in the heatwave ❤❤❤❤❤🥵🥵🥵

With the heightened risk of heart issues during summer, having access to defibrillators and being able to use them is more important than ever.

Every year only 9% of out of hospital cardiac arrests in the UK receive defibrillator help before emergency services arrive. Reflex First Aid Trainers are giving FREE awareness training to EVERYONE. Relaxed and informal session and suitable for ages 14+ years, younger children with adults welcome too.

Hope to see you THURSDAY 28th 😀

🍂Village Halls Week 2026🍂

Village halls “bring people together, support social connection and offer activities that improve health and welbeing” — the heart of this year’s ACRE campaign.
Wedmore Hall is proud to support a wide range of weekly activities which include Badminton, Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi to Pilogafit, Over‑50s Dance, Tuesday Club, Camelot Quilters, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows — and we’re excited to launch Pickleball very soon which is a fun, sociable and accessible new activity inspired by this year’s wellbeing theme.

We’re also gearing up for the fabulous Wedmore Festival (9–17 May) and hosting stage performances of Private Lives by Noël Coward (30 April–2 May). These fantastic hall bookings are sandwiched between fundraising parties, a wedding a fashion show and many more events which really does show how adaptable the hall becomes to suit the community.

We would like to politely ask everyone not to use our Village Hall car park when they are going to the shops or to the pub. Our users of the Hall are increasingly finding there are no spaces left for them when they attend an event, and a number of them have mobility issues so it is simply not fair to them. Our car park is private land and it is intended for Hall users - the village has an excellent free public car park available.

Delighted to hear that the event went so well at our Hall. Keep up the good work!
