🦉 Did you know autumn and winter are some of the best times to spot or hear owls?
As the nights draw in, owls become much more active and vocal as they begin courtship and mating season. If you've heard hooting after dark recently, there's a good chance a Tawny Owl is nearby making its presence known!
So next time you're out enjoying a crisp autumn walk, take a moment to listen. You might just hear one of these remarkable birds calling from the trees.
