What a fabulous day we had at the Royal Three Counties Show Pony Club Team Show Jumping yesterday where we were delighted to have two cracking teams proudly representing OBH in the 80cm and 90cm classes.🤩
In the 80cm team, Evie, Eliza and Nancy secured a fantastic 7th place and in the 90cm, Nell, Issy and Isla rode brilliantly to finish 11th.👏💫
We are incredibly proud of all the riders – for their riding, teamwork, and the way they supported each other and turned out their ponies. Congratulations to Eliza, who was awarded one of only a handful of Good Horsemanship Awards for outstanding horsemanship, exceptional care and respect for the horse, and a clear commitment to putting welfare, patience and partnership first. A wonderful achievement. 🌟
A huge thank you to Fi Dowding for course walking and providing support, advice and encouragement to riders (and parents!) throughout the day, and to everyone who came along to support the teams.
It was a huge atmosphere with crowds, fairground, parachute jumpers and plenty of noise, but every rider and pony stepped up to the challenge and coped amazingly and handled it all with confidence and determination. So excited for the Summer Team Competitions ahead ✨
