Grove Charity Car Truck and Bike Show 2024

I’ve been working with a few locals to try and sort sponsorship for the show for the last few months with hundreds of emails have been sent out thanks to the girls that have been helping . Out of around 750 emails sent to local and companies further afield they had only a few replies . One company sponsored £750 to help fund the show which is amazing .

Another local company Macdermid Autotype wanted to sponsor £5000 to help fund the show but because as a show we are not a registered charity they couldn’t do that unfortunately.

BUT ……….

After a few back and forth messages with the amazing Carla Rutter they have agreed to donate the £5000 straight to Oxfordshire mind on behalf of the show to get our fund raising started ! Just amazing !!

Remember guys if any of you can help sponsor and fund the show please do get in touch it’s getting nearer and nearer and we still need the support .

Ok guys well this is it ……….

One last push for some sponsors for the show ! I’m always honest with what’s going on behind the scenes and will always share and this post is to say we NEED MORE SPONSORS URGENTLY !!

All our paperwork and licences etc for new venue are all going through the motions with local authorities so that’s great news and we have already had feedback from locals and councils to say how professional we have come across and all our paperwork is in order etc which is great !

We need you though , the public , the bosses , the managers , please please please if you can help us let us know asap . Go into work tomoz as your bosses if they can help , tell them what it’s for the amazing Oxfordshire Mind , tell them what we are doing and see if they are able to help us we would really appreciate that .

This show is all in aid of a local mental health charity which raises lots for them and also raises awareness.

Hi guys bit of a statement below so please do read as it’s important .

After a lot of consideration we have decided to move our event from Grove Recreation Grounds to a brand new Location on the Challow Road just opposite West Site School in the old Circus Field .

After endless amounts of Hurdles being thrown our way this and the fact my health was taking a bashing we really didn’t have any other choice .

Let me tell you tho , the new event field is amazing ! Even bigger and better !
Local enough for all to walk if possible with access from the bottom end of Stockham for the people of Grove and from Wantage , Challow , Childrey , Letcombe etc . We will have parking and camping available on site with toilets, showers etc .

We can now have and run our own amazing Bar for you all to enjoy and have a number of other outlets supplying some amazing food and drink on event day .

As always guys this event will be the biggest event around this area this year and for many years to come will grow and grow at the new venue.

Onwards and upwards !

Good evening . It’s been a manic weekend here sorting lots of stuff out for the show . Nearly across the line is a full security outfit for the whole weekend who will also be looking after the campsite . A scaffold company secured to erect Banner stands and some totally epic news that the official JetCar will be joining us at the show ! Absolutely blown away !! 🙌🙌👌👌
