🐾 IT’S TIME FOR A MR CHICO UPDATE! 🐾

Just look at this little man now! ❤️

Chico came into our care a number of weeks ago in absolutely heartbreaking condition, with a body condition score of just 1 out of 5. He began a carefully managed refeeding programme, and thanks to the incredible care and dedication of his wonderful foster home, he is now looking absolutely amazing! 🥹❤️

Sadly, Chico began having seizures not long after arriving with us. Following a series of tests, we discovered that he has epilepsy.

The good news? He has now started medication and has responded marvellously to treatment! 🙌 We’ve also been given the go-ahead for the next stage of his routine medical care. Once this has been completed, Chico will be ready to start looking for his forever home! 🏡❤️

This little man has transformed into a playful, loving little dude who is an absolute joy to care for. 🐶💙

After everything he has endured, including being found tied to a tree and having just one eye, it’s understandable that Chico can be a little sensitive around strangers. He’ll need slow, gentle introductions to help him feel safe and comfortable.

But once you’re in his circle, you’ll discover a very special boy! He absolutely loves children and adores his person. ❤️

We are SO excited to see what the next chapter of Chico’s journey holds. After such a difficult start in life, he deserves nothing less than a future filled with love, security and happiness. 🐾✨

🐾 Please welcome senior lady Bella! 🐾

At almost 12 years old, sweet Bella has found herself needing a new place to call home after her Mum’s circumstances drastically changed. Her Mum reached out to us for help, and of course, we were more than happy to give Bella somewhere safe to land on all four paws. ❤️

Bella is currently undergoing a number of tests for possible heart disease, and while she awaits further investigations, we’re hoping to find her a very special foster home in the Deal area.

🏡 Could you offer Bella a quiet, loving place to rest her paws?

Bella would love a calm home where someone is around for most of the day. She only needs very short walks and trots along beautifully on her little outings. At this stage of her life, she deserves comfort, companionship and all the gentle fuss she can get.
She can live with other dogs, of a quiet nature, although not cat-tested, she has a beautiful nature and we do not believe this would be an issue.
Bella also loves a car ride and lays in her little bed ❤️

Her medical investigations and treatment will be ongoing, so we need a foster home within the Deal area to ensure she can continue receiving the veterinary care she needs.
All costs are fully covered by the rescue and you will receive full support.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE 🐾❤️

🏡 Can you offer a safe, loving, child-free home to an 8-year-old Shih Tzu?

We are desperately seeking an urgent foster placement for this little lad, who has had a rough time and really needs someone to give him a chance. 💔

🐶 A little about him:
❤️ He can be loving but is also very temperamental, so experience would be preferred.
🏡 He needs an adult-only, child-free home where he can feel safe.
🐾 He is good without other dogs, could also live with another dog.
💗 He needs patience, understanding and time to decompress at his own pace.

He has been through a lot, and we want to find him a quiet, secure environment where he can relax, rebuild his trust and learn that he is safe.

📍 Location: CT14 / CT19 and surrounding areas
⏰ Urgent placement needed as soon as possible!

🙏 Please don’t let his age or temperament put you off. The right person could make all the difference to this little boy’s life.

❤️🐶 I need a home 🐾❤️

Buddy is a gorgeous 2½ year-old Chihuahua cross who is now looking for a very special forever home.

Buddy is a very sweet, loving boy who adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has a lovely affectionate nature and, once he feels safe and settled, he really is a little character who loves being close to his people.

However, Buddy does have some challenges which mean that finding the right home for him is especially important.

He can be very nervous, particularly when out on his lead, and he can become extremely attached and possessive towards the person he bonds with. This can make him uncomfortable when someone comes too close to his special person, and he has shown that he isn’t comfortable around young children. For this reason, Buddy will need an adult-only home where he can have the time, patience and understanding he needs.

Buddy could live with another another friendly, confident, preferably female dog for company, as he doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods and gains confidence from having another dog around however Buddy could live without another dog as long as his companionship needs are met by his family.

The really encouraging thing about Buddy is that, at just 2½ years old, he is still a young dog with so much potential. He is very trainable and is already showing improvement when given consistent commands, clear direction and positive guidance. With the right person who is prepared to continue this work, we believe Buddy has every opportunity to grow in confidence and learn how to manage the situations he currently finds difficult.

Buddy isn’t looking for a perfect home, he’s looking for the right home. A patient adult-only family who understands that he may need time to build confidence, can provide consistent boundaries and guidance, and will give him plenty of love and reassurance.

In return, Buddy has so much love to give.

This weekend, we were absolutely over the moon when our beautiful senior lady Penny found her forever home. ❤️🐾

Penny is the sweetest girl and was found in the most awful condition. After lots of tests on her lumps and bumps, thankfully everything was deemed normal for her age. She also had 12 rotten teeth removed, and despite everything she has been through, she took it all in her stride like the little trooper she is. 🥹❤️

Now it’s time for you to go and live the best life, Penny. You will be very much missed in your foster home, but we couldn’t be happier that you’ve found your forever family.

What a little cracker you are! 🥰🐾

🐾 Please welcome Buddy to the CPR family! 🐾

Lovely little Buddy was surrendered by his family after changing circumstances meant they could no longer give him the life he deserved, so his family reached out to us and, of course, we had to help this gorgeous boy. ❤️

Buddy is a well-rounded, sociable chap who has clearly been very loved and incredibly well cared for. He’s now settling in with us and we’re looking forward to helping him find his perfect forever home.

Buddy will be available for rehoming soon, and we’ll be looking for a child-free home where he can preferably be the only dog and the centre of your world. 🥰

Please remember: Buddy is only 2½ years old, so anyone considering adopting him must be prepared to meet his exercise and enrichment needs, as well as make a commitment that could potentially last another 15 years.

💗 Oh gorgeous Millie, you’ve been rehomed! 💗

Millie has now found her forever home and is settling beautifully into the next chapter of her life. She’s confident, full of joy, and has fitted in wonderfully. 🐾

We’re sure this news will disappoint many of you. We received so many wonderful applications for this special girl, but as always, we could only choose one family.

🐾 Cilla has been rehomed! 🐾

Our wonderful young Cavapoo, Cilla, has had a troubled start in life, but we’re absolutely delighted to say that she has found her forever home. ❤️

She’s gone off to live with a wonderful family and her new best friend, Bubbles! 🐶💕 We couldn’t be happier for her and are so excited to see what the future holds.

Please join us in wishing Cilla and her new family the very best of luck and lots of love, happiness and wonderful adventures together. 🥰
