We are taking important steps forward to strengthen SEND support and ensure children, young people and families across Sutton get earlier help when they need it most.

Here’s some of what we will be working on over the coming months now that our SEND Reform Plan and Priority Action Plan have both been approved:

- Specialist support in all schools: Bringing specialists (called "Experts at Hand") directly into schools and expanding support across all primary and secondary schools.
- New SEND Family Centre: A dedicated place for parents and carers to access support, guidance, and key services in one place.
- Best start in life: Recruiting Best Start Inclusion Practitioners to work in our family hubs and support more families of children with additional needs in the future

ℹ️ Company members have the right to nominate themselves to attend for election to the Board of Trustees. Please inform us by 9th October if you would like to stand.

ℹ️ Following the business of the meeting, we will have a special presentation celebrating the contribution of Mavis Peart OBE, who will be standing down as Chair in the spring. We will also have presentations on our current work and other plans. You are also welcome to stay for a light lunch.
