Come with me... To our Halstead Summer Solstice singing circle ☀️✨

This time round we extended our offer and enjoyed a shared meal together before our gentle stroll across the Leicestershire countryside and singing.

It was such a glorious evening - a gorgeous gathering of beautiful souls, beautiful sounds and we were treated to the most incredible sunset to make our journey back across the land.

As always a huge thank you to Miriam at Halstead Hill farm for hosting us so warming. And a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared your voices so joyfully and courageously.

I will be holding a second solstice singing circle for men and women this evening as it is our monthly Soulful Sunday get together.

We will be at a new outdoors venue singing beside a tipi in serene woodland and it will be special.

Soulful Sunday – Summer Solstice Edition

We'll be gathering at the beautiful Tiny Fungi in Laxton, singing either amongst the trees in the woodland or inside their magical tipi if the weather turns.

Nobody Knows...

Inspired by my weekend at the coast we sang this beautiful song in our circle on Wednesday.

Such a gorgeous sound here but the recording doesn't really do it justice....

Being in the circle is the best way to experience these songs. The luscious harmony's, the connection and the energy in the room are such an important part of what we do and can only really be felt in the body, in the moment.

This song is deeply calming and perfect for slowing down and resetting the nervous system.

Summer Solstice Outdoor Singing Circle

Join us in a beautiful woodland glade at Halstead Hill Farm as we celebrate the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year and a time of abundance, gratitude and connection to the natural world.

Together we'll share beautiful medicine songs in harmony, surrounded by birdsong, trees and the evening light. This year we're also extending the invitation to include an optional shared meal and nearly wild camping beneath the stars.

If you've ever wondered what our singing circle sounds like, this is it! The sound of four years condensed into 1 minute!

This is what our fourth birthday sing sounded like on Wednesday. I asked the women in the circles to tell me which songs stuck and which songs most encapsulated our singing circle. This was the result!

There was also the chance to feed back on our 4th birthday board more of our favourite songs and other important parts of our singing circle and the commenting that we gather.

Four years of Wa Wa Women!

Yesterday we celebrated four beautiful years of gathering in circle, singing together, building community and sharing life through song.

Four years of harmonies, heartfelt moments, courage, laughter, connection and so many wonderful women walking through the doors and bringing their voices to the circle.

I feel so much love and gratitude for every single person who has been part of this journey — whether you’ve sung with us once, every week, or quietly supported from the sidelines.

These circles have become one of the most meaningful parts of my work and have brought some truly incredible women into my life. What a gift that is ✨

It's Okay by Kira Seto

We sang this beautiful song in our soulful Sunday singing circle this week to honour mental health awareness week that was drawing to a close.

It felt right to acknowledge and raise a conversation around mental health but we know over here that every week is mental health awareness week.

A topic so close to our hearts we are firm believers of talking about and sharing our experiences and the importance of tending to your mind, body and soul.

Our singing circle on Sunday was pure medicine; calming - extending our breath, simulating our vagus nerve with humming; connecting - talking about the songs and their stories and how they connect to our own narrative; soulful - and a chance for us to look inside to tend to our inner world.

Wa Wa Women is turning FOUR!

This Wednesday we’ll be celebrating four beautiful years of singing together

Four years of:
🎶 beautiful songs
✨ heartfelt connection
🌿 shared stories
💛 courage, laughter and community

What began as a small circle has grown into such a special community of women, and I feel incredibly grateful for every single voice that has been part of the journey.

We would love to invite both past and present singers — and any new women who feel curious — to come and celebrate with us.

Beltane At Halstead Hill 💚

Thank you to everyone that came along yesterday to join us for a celebratory sing to welcome in Beltane.

We sang fearlessly in a beautiful woodland glade. Songs of flowers, fires, ribbons and the magic of May.

This is our hearty rendition of 'Well Met This Beltane' by Nickomo. Very much enjoyed in our circle.

What a joy to be able to celebrate these turnings of the wheel and seasonal changes with a growing community of like-minded people.
