We've had a very exciting past few days, with a glider coming to our squadron! The cadets were able to see and learn about the opportunities with gliding, from the Army Gliding Club Wyvern, where a few of our cadets attend. We also learnt about the new deal going on at the club, which will hopefully draw some more cadets into beginning their learning on a glider!
Thank you very much Cpl Heath, Cdt Wisniewski and Cdt Magill for inspiring the cadets and telling us more about your experiences with gliding.

Not only that, but a handful of our cadets had an amazing time gliding over the weekend, the pictures looked great! The opportunity was wonderful, however it seemed a little tiring...

No, these aren’t the troops you’re looking for 👀 — just your local RAF Air Cadets showing that even in a galaxy not so far away, drill, discipline, and teamwork still come first.

Helmets on standby, formation sharp as ever, and not a blaster out of place (don’t worry, we stuck to polishing boots instead).

May the 4th be with you… 💚

From building confidence and leadership to mastering drill and teamwork, the Air Cadets help develop skills that are out of this world… even without the Force.

But at 102 (Aberdeen Airport) Squadron Air Training Corps, they decided to add a little extra power to one of their final parades with a touch of Jedi energy.

Not quite standard issue… but definitely very fitting for today!

Yesterday we were truly honoured by the Trowbridge Town Council where we were named the Club of the Year!! 🎉🎊 Well done to all our cadets who have put in so much effort to represent our squadron over the last year; I hope you see how your hard work is paying off and being recognised.
