Cymru Creations Cymru Creations is a charity that specialises in media, and community beneficial projects. Our history courses have proved extremely popular.

Objectives
Here at Cymru Creations we create and produce projects with a history/heritage or media theme. As a dedicated group of professionals made up of film makers, former teachers and members of the Blaenau Gwent community, our aims are to produce projects and training programs for all members of the community especially young people, which will benefit our society. Exciting Things Happening in the Ballroom!

We’re proud to host two of our long running projects:

🎬🎬🎬 The award winning Blaenau Gwent Film Academy!!!! Now in its 9th year, our free film academy has grown to over 130 members! Based in the brand-new Cymru Creations Film Studios (first floor), students gain hands-on experience across all areas of filmmaking, from scriptwriting to set building and everything in between.
A great space for creativity, learning, and bringing stories to life!

Last Week Cymru Creations were proud to have signed an official partnership agreement with Zagora International Film Festival . In the coming years we will be working together to develop cultural exchange programs, workshops and storytelling projects across Wales and Morocco. Exciting times ahead!

Exciting News from Cymru Creations! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇲🇦🎬

This past week, our very own Kevin Phillips and Sophie Hill were invited to the beautiful city of Zagora, Morocco! Kevin proudly served as a jury member for the Zagora International Film Festival, and the visit also opened the door to an exciting new partnership between Cymru Creations and the Zagora International Film Festival.

This collaboration will bring cultural exchange programs and international joint projects that will help strengthen the connection between our communities. 🌍🤝

It is a great honour to be invited back to the Zagora International Film Festival in Morocco, this time to serve as a member of the jury of judges.

Beyond the privilege of contributing to the festival itself, we are particularly looking forward to the invitation of exploring new ways of strengthening cultural links between Wales and Morocco.
It is a privilege to represent Wales in such an inspiring international setting and to continue building meaningful bridges through culture and cinema.
