🥁 Introducing our Glitter Ball 2026 Headline Partner…AMAZON! ⭐️

Amazon is a committed employer of military talent in the UK and a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, offering structured pathways that help service leavers, veterans, reservists and military spouses translate their skills into civilian careers.

With dedicated military recruiters supporting the Armed Forces community throughout their journey into Amazon, they help candidates translate their service experience, navigate the application process, and find the right role. Building on the success of its military hiring work, Amazon's focus now spans hiring, career development, retention, and family support.

“Amazon is proud to support Female Veterans Alliance as Headline Partner of the Glitter Ball 2026. Female veterans are an often under-recognised part of the Armed Forces community, and FVA's work in building connection, visibility and support for women who have served speaks directly to the values at the heart of our Global Military Affairs program.

For Amazon, this partnership is about more than sponsorship, it reflects our commitment to championing the whole military community and ensuring that women who have served feel seen, celebrated and supported in their transition to civilian life.”

A little something for the trophy shelf! Last night Female Veterans Steering Group Chair Ali Brown and WRACA CEO Paula were at the House of Commons for the Women in Defence Awards, surrounded by many inspirational women from across the UK Armed Forces.
We are nominated in the 'Inclusive Teamwork' category for our Female Veterans Toolkit, and we couldn't think of a better accolade for WRACA: The Servicewomen's Charity which puts teamwork and camaraderie at the heart of all that we do.
Will we take the top prize in November? Time will tell, and we've certainly got stiff competition, but just to have been shortlisted is a huge honour. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard on this project and contributed their time so generously.
