Job Opportunity: Full-Time Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Location: Central Surgery Nursing Home, Tredegar
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-Time (Including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents’ physical and emotional well-being, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, and mobility.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assisting at mealtimes and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes to the senior nursing staff.
- Maintaining accurate care records and participating in handover meetings.
What We Are Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred, but we welcome applications from those willing to work towards it.
- Previous experience in a nursing home or care setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
