We were sorry to hear of the passing of local Tranent man Peter Wilkie, members have said he made the best pies going.

A massive thank you to the family who raised £430.70 collection at the funeral, the donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to support people in the community.

On Thursday night, we flew to Wales for our bi-annual visit to meet our Welsh friends Gilfach Goch Bowler Hats.

While the game seemed like one that could go either way, Scotland came out on top (again) which we constantly reminded our Welsh friends of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿!

🎗️❤️ - The Bowler Hats put on 4 days of absolutely fantastic entertainment for us, and raised in excess of £2,000 for charity - the exact amount to be confirmed. - ❤️🎗️

It’s always fantastic to see our Welsh family, and we look forward to seeing them in Scotland next year, even though they have set a collosal challenge to beat their hospitality! - a massive thank you to them 😃.

🏅🎯🏅🎯 Earlier in February The Belters attended a fantastic night of ‘Soots Does Bullseye’ at East lothian Co-operative bowling & social . A big thank you to Alan Soutar, Paul Reid and Jim Bowen for the entertainment! 🎯🏅🎯🏅

❤️🏅❤️🏅Just before The Belters nipped off to Wales, we got a photo with Calum McLure where he generously donated £1,130 from funds raised in the event. A massive heartfelt thank you to Calum for arranging the event and choosing to donate funds to us ❤️🏅❤️🏅.

🎗️😃🎗️😃 These funds will go a long way to supporting The Belters help people and organisations in the community 🎗️😃🎗️😃.

Right then, gather 'round, you lot! As some of you eagle-eyed sorts might've clocked, we've landed in the land of song, supping tea with our chums, the Gilfach Goch Bowler Hats for the epic Wales versus Scotland Six Nations clash – may the best dragon win!
Now, being the charitable sorts we are (haloes polished and everything), we're also shaking our collecting tin for the wonderful Velindre Cancer Centre. They're a truly smashing bunch, especially after they recently gave one of our beloved Bowler Hats the VIP treatment.

James and Margaret Dudgeon and family recently donated £200. James, a past recipient of a riser chair, suggested a donation to our organization in lieu of Christmas gifts to thank us for the chair. The grandson, also named James, presented the donation to our chairman and a life member
