🚨 Please don’t scroll past - Daphne needs your help.

Daphne is the heart of her family.
42 years married. Mum of three. Grandma to four.

She hosts every family gathering. She’s the first to show up when someone needs support. She’s spent her whole life putting everyone else first.

Now she needs someone to show up for her. 💔

In May 2025, Daphne was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. Her only chance of survival is a stem cell transplant from a matching donor.

Her family have been tested.
Nearly 45 million people worldwide have been searched.
But there’s still no good match. Yet.

That match could be you.

If you’re 16–55 and in good health, you can register online at dkms.org.uk/helpdaphne and receive a swab kit to your home.

It takes minutes to complete:
🧬 Swab your cheeks
📮 Post it back
✔️ You’re on the register

One simple action could mean decades more birthdays, hugs, and precious moments for Daphne - or for someone else desperately waiting for their match.

Please register. Please share.
You could be someone’s second chance.

You may have noticed an important change at DKMS UK…

We are pleased to share that DKMS UK is expanding its stem cell donor registration age range. We now welcome potential donors aged 16 to 55, making DKMS the stem cell registry with the widest age range in the UK!

This decision follows research that shows patient outcomes can be improved when younger donors are chosen for stem cell transplants. By lowering the minimum registration age, we aim to increase the availability of optimal matches for patients in need of a lifesaving transplant.

Expanding our age range allows us to grow and diversify the registry, giving more patients a second chance at life.

If you are aged 16–55, we encourage you to find out about registering and becoming part of our vital mission to delete blood cancer. Already registered? Share this post with someone who needs to know!
