Hildenborough VPA

Hildenborough VPA Hildenborough Village Preservation Association (HVPA) is a residents association to maintain the independent village community

Hildenborough Village Preservation Association (HVPA) was originally formed in 1973 as a spontaneous reaction to a proposed massive development at Hilden Farm. Since then, the HVPA has successfully opposed subsequent large development proposals on that site and at various other locations around the village. Central to the Association’s purpose is the maintenance of the Green Belt and the continuin

g preservation of Hildenborough as an individual residential community. This means supporting our Parish Council and making our own independent contribution to the local planning process in respect of larger scale developments.

Public Consultation – Speed Indicator Devices in Hildenborough

Hildenborough Parish Council is seeking residents’ views on the possible installation and use of Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) in the village.

These devices display the speed of approaching vehicles and are used to encourage drivers to slow down and improve road safety. Before progressing further, the Parish Council would like to hear from residents about whether you support their use and where you feel they may be most beneficial.

Your feedback will help inform future decisions and discussions with Kent County Council.

Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey:

Your views are important in helping us make Hildenborough’s roads safer for everyone.

Thank you for taking part.

Last night was the final Local Plan Public Meeting in Eccles.

Thank you very much to every single person who has come to any of the 27 meetings to hear more about the process and share your thoughts. I hope you found it interesting.

A massive thanks to all those who helped organise the events with us, and everyone who has helped spread the message. I am also very grateful to the excellent Planning and Communications teams at Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council for their help, preparation and organisation too.

It has been hugely rewarding to have so many conversations across Tonbridge and Malling about how we can shape our future together.

Don’t forget, submit your responses to TMBC before 2 January here - https://tmbcconsult.commonplace.is/en-GB/
