Crafty Hubbers Thornton Le Dale The Crafty Hubbers was set up before the first lockdown. All funds raised are donated to support small Ryedale charities.

The idea came from a group of like-minded ladies who together wanted to highlight personal wellness through different crafts.

Our latest challenge is now complete.
We have been busy raising funds to purchese harnesses, leads,name tags and dog food for Ryedale Dog Rescue .
We will also be sponsoring this year's Christmas Cards.
Thank you to Rosie, Carol, Jan, Dianne and David for all the fabulous work you do .
And a special thank you to Sidney and Rodney for modelling the harnesses.

We are immensely grateful to Crafty Hubbers who funded yesterday’s Tea and Tunes event ☕️🎶😃Dorothy & June from Crafty Hubbers Thornton Le Dale joined team member Jacquie Cole and Trustee Helena Megson to enjoy Matthew Jones-Green entertaining over 40 of our clients and volunteers with lots of old favourites.

The Crafty Hubbers TLD presented Sue Fitter, Trustee of Ryedale Foodbank, with Easter Eggs that will all be distributed between Pickering, Norton and Kirkbymoorside. We also helped purchase domestic and personal items to replenish the foodbank’s diminished stocks!

Once again, a big thank you to Claire and the team at Baldersons Welcome Café for their continued support in selling our little hugs.

Following on from our recent successful coffee morning, Crafty Hubbers TLD presented Sue Fitter, Trustee Ryedale Foodbank (1st left photo) with 120 Christmas selection boxes for children and 100 Terry's chocolate oranges for adults living alone. Our Crafty Hubbers Coffee Morning on Saturday 25th October, supporting Ryedale Foodbank 'Sponsor a Selection Box' was a great success!

A huge thank you to all the very kind bakers for the variety of cakes and for all the ladies and gents who kindly attended on the day, including those who could not attend, for generously donating towards this good cause.
