๐Ÿ“ฃ Year 6 Parents โ€“ Are You Ready for High School?

As we approach the end of the academic year, we're pleased to launch a new Transition Support Programme for parents of children moving from Year 6 to Year 7.

Hosted at The Manor & Hub, Cleveleys, this free programme is open to Year 6 parents from all areas and includes four expert-led sessions designed to help you:

โœ… Understand the transition to secondary school
โœ… Build confidence and feel prepared for the changes ahead
โœ… Gain practical strategies to support your child
โœ… Access advice, guidance and local support services
โœ… Connect with other parents experiencing the same journey

We know that moving to secondary school is a significant milestone for both young people and their families. While schools provide excellent support, many parents can feel less connected during this transition. These sessions aim to give parents the knowledge, confidence and tools needed to help make the move as smooth and positive as possible.

There is also an optional fifth session for families who may have additional concerns around SEND, ADHD, autism, anxiety or other transition-related challenges.

๐Ÿ“ The Manor & Hub, Cleveleys
๐Ÿ“… Starting 17 June
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Places are limited

To register your interest, please complete the booking form below:

Please share with any Year 6 families who may benefit from this support.

Brew & Move: Your Session, Your Way

Looking for a welcoming space to start (or restart) your movement journey?

Brew & Move is all about you, your pace, your goals, your experience. Whether you're managing a long-term health condition, rebuilding confidence in movement, or just curious to try something new, this session is here to support you.

Led by a highly qualified PT, each session is:
๐ŸŸข Fun, relaxed, and informative
๐ŸŸข Tailored to every individual - no one-size-fits-all
๐ŸŸข Designed to support better movement and long-term health
๐ŸŸข Built around real conversations and shared experiences

๐Ÿ’ฌ Bring your questions, your goals, or simply yourself
๐Ÿค Join a supportive group, all working towards their own personal aims, whether thatโ€™s moving more, socialising, or discovering a new interest

๐Ÿ’ฅ The best part?
Weโ€™re breaking stereotypes. This isnโ€™t about age or ability, itโ€™s about showing up and moving in a way that works for you.

โ˜• Stay afterwards for a brew, a chat, and connection, because feeling good isnโ€™t just physical.

Weโ€™re honestly still trying to take it all in..

After the shock and excitement of being nominated for the , today we were contacted to say that Connectiverse CIC has also been nominated for the National Diversity Awards in the category of Community Organisation - Multi-Strand

To say this feels surreal would be an understatement.

Connectiverse was built from lived experience, community spirit and a belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard and supported. From the Magazine, to The Manor & Community Hub, our Podcast, projects, outreach and support services, every part of Connectiverse exists because of the people behind it and the community around it.

This nomination belongs to:
๐Ÿ”น Every person who shared their story
๐Ÿ”น Every volunteer, partner and supporter
๐Ÿ”น Every young person, parent, carer and adult who trusted us
๐Ÿ”น Every person who walked through our doors needing connection, support or belonging

We know awards are about more than numbers. They consider the quality of nominations and the impact behind the words. Voting closes on Tuesday, which gives us just TWO days to make as much noise as possible.

So today, weโ€™re asking something special from our community:

๐Ÿ’ญ What does Connectiverse CIC mean to you?

Whether itโ€™s:
๐Ÿ“– the Magazine amplifying unheard voices
๐Ÿก The Manor Community Hub creating safe spaces
๐ŸŽ™๏ธ the Podcast starting important conversations
๐Ÿค our mentoring, advocacy and support services
๐ŸŒ or the projects helping people feel connected and empowered

Please share your experiences, stories and words of support when voting. Every comment, every share and every vote could make a real difference.

If you believe in what we do and feel we deserve your vote, please take a moment to support us.

Thank you for standing with us, believing in us and helping us grow a movement rooted in inclusion, representation and community.

Weโ€™re so excited to share that our new signage is finally up! ๐Ÿ™Œ

After being damaged in one too many storms, replacing our original sign wasnโ€™t easy, especially as a new non-profit. But as our sessions and projects grew, it became clear just how important it was for our community.

A huge thank you to the Eric Wright Charitable Trust and Blackpool Volunteer Centre (now Community First Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde) for making this possible through their generous funding ๐Ÿ’™

And a special shoutout to Links Signs and Graphics Ltd for their expert advice, support, and installation.

Coming back to the Hub this afternoon and seeing it all in place ahead of schedule was such a wonderful surprise, it really does make a difference! โœจ

โœจ Brew & Move at The Manor โ€“ A Little Different This Week! โœจ

This week, weโ€™re inviting you to a special session focused on strengths and positive talk, led by Helen Kane of Forte Strengths Ltd ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ฌ

As we move through life, one thing is certain we build a richness of wisdom that no one can teach. It comes from your experiences, your challenges, your wins, the moments that quietly shape who you are.

But how often do we stop and truly recognise that?

Join us as we take a gentle trip down Memory Lane, exploring brain and memory games designed to help you reconnect with your story and rediscover exactly what youโ€™re made of.

And hereโ€™s the best part, weโ€™ll also look at how you can *share* that wisdom with others, enriching not just your own life, but theirs too ๐Ÿ’›

โ˜• Great company
๐Ÿง  Engaging activities
๐Ÿ’ฌ Meaningful conversation

Come along, reflect, connect, and leave feeling inspired.
