We are very saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Michael Smale from Glebewin herd and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Holstein UK.

Michael served two terms on the board and four years as Chairman from 2019 to 2023. A proud Cornishman, Michael was well respected amongst the industry. He will be missed sorely by those who knew him across Cornwall, the South West and beyond. Our thoughts are with Michael's family during this difficult time.

Details of the funeral arrangements will be notified in due course.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself. Your hard work, support, and dedication made everything possible, and we truly couldn't have done it without you. 👏❤️

We would also like to thank everyone who attended the Premier Herd Open Day & Sale. It was an honour to welcome so many people, and seeing such a fantastic turnout was incredibly special. It really reinforced just how much the Holstein breed continues to mean to so many of us across the UK. 🇬🇧🐄

A massive thank you goes to all the bidders and successful purchasers for the sale. We achieved an average of £4823 on 110 lots and everyone here at Feizor wishes you every success for the future with our girls. 🍀🐮
